The warmth of the Palm Springs sun drenches the south end of downtown where this five-bedroom, four-bath escape is located. Guests can easily bike or walk to hiking trails, restaurants, shopping, museums and nightlife but most will probably make the short five minute drive. During the fifties this neighborhood included famous Hollywood escapee residents such as the Gabor sisters, Lucille Ball, Ricky Ricardo, Marjorie Maine and Lana Turner.
The kitchen is designed for the cook of action and is outfitted with a commercial grade 36 inch, 6 burner Wolf Range/Oven and everything else you'll need to prepare the favorite recipes of your large group. There is elegant dining for ten at a seven foot diameter round table which is part of the enormous vaulted greatroom. This large, open floor plan greatroom also includes a fireplace setting with a large screen TV/DVD and extensive library. There is also a wet bar and a cool new pool table to complete the scene. All of the living-areas are accessible through a full wall of french doors that lead into a rear garden with a heated pool. Our private, outdoor garden area doubles your living space enjoyment and provides a cozy covered dining and lounge area adjacent to the house. There is ample sunning space, a casual dining cabana, fire-pit, BBQ grill, carpeted play/exercise area and a separate dog run.
The master bedroom is a romantic retreat unto itself with it's own refrigerator, microwave, breakfast table, large TV/DVD, washer and dryer and a double shower that is built for two to enjoy. Four of the five bedrooms have a connecting or dedicated bathroom with a king size bed and TV/DVD in each. The fifth bedroom has two twin beds and is X-box equipped and also has an internet accessible computer and TV/DVD.

Absolutely great.....nine members of our family stayed here for the first week of January...we were booked for the first of January and Mark and Dusty made it possible to arrive one day early on almost a minute's notice. Their home is everything it is advertised to be and more. We particuarly liked the round table in the dining room with room for everybody!! The pool area is fantastic. I could go on and on. We certainly hope to be able to stay here again. Thank you both.

ranchita hermosa.....aah what a place. just arrived home today from here, landing all the way back in new jersey and i already miss it immensely. the property is everything it is advertised to be, plus a little more. spacious bedrooms, lounge areas, kitchen, pool area, barbecue grill and pool table. This ranch was the back drop for 9 friends that all flew in from the east coast to attend a wedding. i would definitely recommend this rental for the house itself, the location, the amenities, and most of all the owners. any time we needed anything they were right on top of it, making sure that their guests received the most for their money. if you are a first timer like we were, you can't go wrong here!

This house is my "go to" place anytime I need an escape. Everything you need is here! This is what I love about it; Beautifully decorated, comfortable and quiet. Very private. Wonderful backyard with a great pool and several outdoor seating areas. I like preparing my own meals and having the option to go out to eat if I want to. The location of the house makes it easy to get around the area for many activities and when you return, you pull right into the attached garage! I will NEVER stay in a hotel in Palm Springs again.

...this was our 9th annual golf trip...and this year we had a group of 6. There are no words to describe how amazing this house was for our vacation!! Two car garage wher we stowed all of our golf bags. Very large and extremely well stocked kitchen!.our "chef" loved the huge fridge and the Wolfe gas stove!! We thouorghly enjoyed the great room!!...big screen TV...exceptional sound system...and the pool table! (ok...I lost at pool but won on the golf course ;-) ) Everything was on one floor!...how cool is that! The covered patio, large cabana and heated pool were fantastic...and very private...we didn't hear a sound from any of the neighbours. I had the master!...fabulous!! The other guys couldn't say enough abot their rooms!...2 with private baths and all had very comfy beds! The Ranchita is close to everything!!...10 minutes from the airport...2 minutes to "Ralphs" and Starbucks and 5 minutes to downtown! And of course, very central to any golf course you would like to play! We used to stay in Palm Desert...but not any more...we're coming back!!...thanks Mark for a great time!!
