The very low density population offers a peaceful respite from the busy tourist crowds at the big hotels. It is just steps from the pool and magnificent Kaanapali Beach. From the lanai you can view the island of Lanai while enjoying a tropical drink or sunset dinner.
Maui Kaanapali Villas is a condominium/resort situated on 11 acres of beachfront property. You will enjoy a new pool with tropical umbrellas, a Jacuzzi, and keiki (kiddie) pool. An oceanfront restaurant (Castaways) offers a wide variety of meals and extensive wine selection. Other amenities include an excursion/event desk, convenience store, Laundromat, and a beach hut offering snorkel and beach equipment. A free trolley will take you to Whaler's Village shopping center, Kaanapali Golf Courses(36 holes), and several major hotels. In the evening you will enjoy the Hawaiian tradition of tiki torch lighting, and fall asleep to the soothing sound of the trade winds and ocean breakers.

Why the Owner Chose Maui Kaanapali Villas
After visiting 4 other islands, we decided that Maui was by far the preferred island considering the good weather, the magnificent sandy beaches and in particular, the Kaanapali beach community. Located in the famous Kaanapali Resort, it is on the beach yet close to the town of Lahaina, a variety of shopping and several local golf courses.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
Maui Kaanapali Villas offers a quiet ambience with uncrowded grounds. Guests have the option of relaxing on the beach either in the sun or under shade trees on a chaise lounge on the large lawn while watching the beautiful blue ocean. Usually the ocean is calm enough for children to play in the waves. The pools offer a variety of depths, including a "keiki" (kiddie's) pool.

This condominium was purchased in 1973 by three couples on an inter-island trip to Hawaii. We live in different locations on the west coast...Pacific Palisades, Calif., Mammoth Lakes, Calif., and Portland, Oregon. We all love Maui and enjoy our times there. Clarke Howatt has been on the Homeowner's Board for 8 years as Vice President of Buildings and Grounds and has headed the up-grading of the pools and grounds.
