Upstairs, the fully equipped kitchen, dining and living room areas have expansive sliding glass doors that open to a spacious wrap around terrace that overlooks the gardens, rainforest, and pool. Refreshing breezes cool the inside living space. Guests can enjoy the surrounding outdoor nature by lounging in the mosaic, designer pool or relax in the jacuzzi while warming up the BBQ to grill your personal catch-of-the-day. The villa has four bedrooms, and two baths (one with a whirlpool), accommodating 8 guests.
Bird and nature lovers will be enthralled by the diversity of tropical birds and other exotic animals. The Mot Mot house is visited by three species of monkeys: the Titi is one of the most endangered animals on earth but is abundant here, the White Faced monkey is one of the most intelligent, and the Howler is distinctive as being the second loudest animal in the world.
Inside, Mot Mot features numerous fine construction details; the interior lighting has been designed to softly draw attention to the many decorative elements, many of which were purchased by the owner on trips to Asia.

We came from Oregon, California & Washington to play at the beach and enjoy the experience of being together far from home. It has been amazing, people have been great, the Titi Canopy tour was excellent for the adults and 9\11 year old boys. It was close, fun and humid... Manuel Antonio is our favorite beach EVER (Mari's chairs has been excellent!) We just saw a huge group of monkeys (squirrel monkeys) up so close we could see the eyes! It was lively in the jungle... We have had good shopping, good food, a nice wine store a close walk, and the boys enjoy the fried chicken from Chicken Bros. Also a close walk from here... Surf lessons were great at the beach! Pura vida! is the obvious fave phrase, even more than ¡Gracias!! For fun, el Avion is a good restaurant, more for the experience and view than the food. Same with Barba Roja. The whole time has been pretty amazing. We are pretty happy to be here! Happy New Year! We loved Mot Mot Villa, it's perfect with its endlesss varandals and cool pool. The beach close to the house was the biggest attraction for us. We saw monkey families every morning and evening passing throgh the backyard. We spotted a variety of birds in the backyard forest. The path to the house was great for the kids to hike up. We took the local bus to the beach and the National Park. We were a group of six adults, four kids and a baby & we had a great time! Pura vida!Did you find this review helpful? Recommendations: Gran Escape, Dos Locos and Agua Azul. The highlights of our trip included the Catamaran day trip, ziplining, the monkey drop @ "Quepos Canyoning" (family run and fun) and the National Park. It was our first time to Costa Rica. We have come to the agreement that the highlighs of the trip include wildlife spottings (specially howler monkeys), ziplining, the lizards, the beaches in the national park, the food, the pool and the people. I have now realized how pathetic my spanish skills are even after 5 years of spanish classes in the US. All of us have a great time here! The wildlife has been incredible. Sloths crawling from tree to tree, monkeys (of course), lizards, iguanas and of course the suburb beach of Manuel. My 4th time to CR, and had the best time ever in this house. I have tried many times to see whales and was fortunate to see a mother and calf when we did the catamaran trip. We also saw a lot of spotted dolphins. Shay at the lobby area was very helpful and informative. Had the best stay in this area I have ever had. Great Memories created for me and my friends! What can I say? Villa Mot Mot is truly a magical place. This is our second time here and it is a great place for adventure travels around Costa Rica. We were in Costa Rica for 15 days and in Villa Mot Mot for 6 days. We went on a canopy tour, rode horses to Nauyuca Falls, hiked the national park and played at the beach. We had some fabulous meals at Gaia, Barba Roja, Agua Azul, Plinios and Marlin's (El Avion was just ok). A special thanks to Jenna for making our stay here extra enjoyable (our kids, love you!)
