Perfect for 2 families who want to share vacation time in Maine, or 1 extended family, or for family in which fully separate work space desirable. New canoe, paddles, lifejackets, bicycles available for use. Beach directly accessible from house, quiet side of island ideal for canoeing. Swimming in Acadia's crystal-clear Echo Lake and Long Pond minutes away. 5 min. bike ride to town of SW Harbor with restaurants, shops, cafes, great ice cream, wonderful historic library. Rustic lobster pounds for coastal dining close nearby. Free shuttle bus to points all over island will stop if hailed in front of house. House, cottage, and setting so beautiful you won't want to leave them. Our favorite place in the U.S.
