We stayed at this house with another couple for four days and found it to be very nice. The location was suitable to many activities and the beach was easily accessible with wonderful snorkeling. We enjoyed having the ocean view, beach chairs and all the snorkeling gear. The house was a little dated but it was clean and everything worked just fine. The north end is amazing and we had a wonderful visit. Mahalo Clover.

We had an amazing time at this site celebrating my Hawaii 5-0 birthday with our closest friends. The house is right across the street from Anini Beach and is secluded and quite. The photos were representative of the property and it was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed meeting the homeowners too and they made sure to give us great advice about enhancing our trip to paradise. We would certainly recommend this house to others who are visiting Kauai.

while we had an issue with a broken toilet for 36 hours, we survived. Home is very comfortable. very easy access to beach, secluded, beautiful . we had plenty of room in the house for 5 young adults( 13 to 21 ). owner is helpful

house is comfortable, very easy access to the beach. the owner is friendly. Problem is broken toilet in master bath. supposedly a problem due to the excess rain, but 24 hours later, toilet still not working. No fix in sight, left messages, no answer.. We are 7 and now only have one working toilet! not what we came her for.

Clover was the perfect hostess: She provided us with information, not intrusion, gave us gifts that enhanced our visit, and offered us a great house in a great location. The house was clean and convenient with many amenities, and it was just very attractive. Two very separate bedroom/bathroom areas were perfect for us--a young couple with a toddler and two grandparents--and the third bedroom was perfect for our computer and the many provided children's toys. The spacious living room with TV, bar, etc. was relaxing and cozy. The kitchen was stocked with every necessity that we had forgotten to buy at the store as well as all kinds of cooking utensils and eating-ware. The dining room with its large windows looking over to the ocean, up to the sky, and out to the lovely tropical plants in the yard made us feel that we really were in paradise. The large, solid lanai was a treasure-trove of beach and water equipment that we were delighted to use. AND we made good use of the convenient washer-dryer and the large supply of bath and beach towels. The house was very quiet, as was beautiful Anini Beach just a few steps across the lightly traveled road in front of the house. Every day at last once or twice we walked, snorkeled, stand-up paddle surfed, and/or played in the sand and waves with our toddler at this beach. But from this excellent location we not only pretty easily rented surfboards, ate out, cruised boutiques, got gas, and did grocery shopping, but we also actively explored with snorkels and surfboards many terrific beaches from Po'ipu in the south to Ke'e in the northwest. We especially enjoyed Hanalei Bay, only 10-15 minutes away, where each of us surfed in his/her own way--with a boogie board or stand-up paddle board in small waves or a regular surfboard in 10-15' waves--and played with our toddler. Two disappointments of this trip that had nothing to do with our wonderful lodging were that at the time when we went (first week in December) the catamaran tour of the rugged northwest coast was not running because of dangerous waves during the winter season and our guidebooks warned of dangerous surf and riptides sometimes at some beaches at this time of the year. However, all of us--toddler, young husband and wife, and older grandma and grandpa--felt we'd had a fabulous time in this house and on this trip both as a group and as individuals "doing our own things."

Alini Beach House

Spacious, clean and very comfortable home away from home. Good location: about 15 minutes to Hanalei and 30 mins to Ke'e Beach (at the end of the road before Napali), 5 mins to big grocery store in Princeville. Ideal for a family vacation. Boogie boards, mask and snorkels, beach chairs and umbrellas at the house. Delightful and friendly owners live next door, although they were away for most of our visit. Reservation process and payment was easy and efficient. Napali Sea Breeze boat trip leaves from the Alini Beach Park 100 yards from the front door

What a fantastic vacation experience- lovely and incredibly well-stocked home (snorkeling gear, a cooler, everything you could want), and Clover was the best hostess we have ever had in a vacation house. Anini Beach is one of the nicest beaches I have visited anywhere in the world, and it was perfect for our baby and toddler as well (calm, clear water even on days when the surf was high elsewhere). The snorkeling was awesome- we saw sea turtles every day and lots of fish. Thank you for such a delightful trip, and we hope to come back next year!

Lovely stay at Anini Beach

My husband and I spent six lovely nights in this spacious home set in a quiet neighborhood on Anini Beach. All the rooms are airy, and open. The high ceilings give it a feeling of great space. It was way more than we needed for the two of us. We ate breakfast in, and packed lunch every day. Eating out for dinner was a pleasure, but not necessary because the house is very well equipped in every way. We found Anini Beach to be quiet and lovely, and a good spot for taking off from. (biking, hiking, dinners) The owners were very responsive and attentive to any question or need that arose.

Good times at Anini Beach House

If hanging out at the beach is what you have in mind for your vacation, then this is the house for you! It is located right across the street from a short path that leads right to the ocean. In less than a minute you can go from the front yard of the house to beautiful Anini Beach. The house has all the beach gear you will need, so there is no need for you to rent or bring anything. There are beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, coolers and beach toys for the little ones, all for your use. When you get back from the beach, there is an outdoor hot/cold shower in front of the home. At night, we used the flashlights that we found in the kitchen to explore the beach. We saw a lot of sealife out there that only come out at night, like eels and larger sand crabs. If you are lucky, you may even see an octupus lurking around. Most of the action will be near the tide pools around the point at the beginning of the row of houses. There is always a breeze through the home that made it comfortable to sleep in. There are numerous beds, roll aways and couches if you have a larger group. We enjoyed our stay here and will remember it for a lifetime. Mahalo Clover.

We had a fantastic time in this beautiful home. The pictures couldn't express how cozy and beautiful the surroundings are. Upon our arrival, music was playing and we were invited into the home with wonderful goodies by the owners. This is a true gem of a vacation paradise, I look forward to visiting this home again in the future. We were also fortunate to meet the owners of the home who were welcoming, fun and gracious people. Every hope and expectation was surpassed when we stayed here and this home gets my highest recommendation to other vacationers.

Of the many times we've visited beautiful Kauai over the years, this was the most perfect of them all. Your home is truly filled with aloha. We enjoyed and appreciated the soulfulness of your home with its shells, coral, plants and flowers everywhere. The gifts you left for us were so great! Thanks! (Loved the wine!) We took the Hawaiian CD you made for us in the car, which made the incomparable drives here even more lovely. We also enjoyed the morning chorus of birds outside our bedroom window and often lingered to hear just a little more. Mahalo for your great hospitality and for sharing your wonderful home with us. We've had a great time surfing and snorkeling, sailing and swimming, all together with the entire family. We saw dolphins, whales, sea turtles... and still laugh about the amount of chickens and roosters everywhere. Even on the beach! We so appreciated all the little touches of thoughtfulness around the house, the chocolate, wine, and CD's. Being here was truly a home away from home. Loved your movie collection too. Our time in this delightful and magical place has sadly come to an end. We absolutely loved staying in the "Mana Kai" house! We immediately felt at home and the aloha spirit embraced us completely! The boys loved all the geckos, (a favorite evening activity, watching the geckos catch bugs and cheering them on). I made friends with the frogs who reside in your lovely water gardens. We loved all the organic condiments in the house. We are well rested, refreshed, invigorated and spiritually renewed by our stay here. We hope to return in the near future.
