This 18th century carriage house is part of historic ACTON HALL designed by Phillip Hammond and built c. 1740. The property is located in the Murray Hill section of Annapolis and is just two blocks from Church Circle and Main Street. Convenient to State and County offices and the US Naval Academy.
If you love history AND convenience, you won't find anything that can match this beautiful property. Located directly on Spa Creek's ACTON COVE, the property is almost 1 acre and includes beautiful specimen plantings and unique 18th century raised planting beds for annuals, herbs and vegetables.
The carriage house apartment has a separate entrance and beautiful views of the front green, the rear garden and Spa Creek. A large bedroom, with King bed (also convertible to two twins), is bright and airy and includes two closets and a large wardrobe. A flat screen TV (with cable) is included.
The bathroom was totally remodeled in 2007 and includes a pedestal sink, stall shower and commode; it connects to the bedroom. A spacious dining room, with solid cherry dining room table and chairs provides a pleasant place for meals; ceiling fan. The living room has garden and water views and includes a convertible sofa (sleeps two), along with two side chairs and a flat screen tv.
The kitchen, remodeled in 2007, includes ample storage and counter top, along with stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker. The kitchen is fully-equipped with all the utensils and serving items you will need, should you decide to eat at home (with more than 30 restaurants to suit every taste and budget within walking distance, you can always find something new for your dining pleasure).
Other: we offer a secure Wi-Fi connection for internet access. Off-street parking means you won't risk those pesky parking tickets.
Deepwater dockage, with water and electric is available, for an additional charge, when booked with the apartment. Please inquire for details.
