Chambers Landing, located seven miles South of Tahoe City and one mile south of Homewood ski resort, is a beautiful year-round destination on the magical West Shore of Lake Tahoe. The gated community consists of 43 town-homes with covered parking, large grassy areas, two beaches, a swimming pool, restaurant and historical bar (open in the summer) and tennis courts across the street. The property is also adjacent to the bike trail.
This town-home contains approximately 2800 square feet of living area with views of Lake Tahoe. The family area consists of a large living room with gas fireplace, wet bar, 42" flat screen TV with Dish Network and DVD/VHS capabilities. The newly remodeled gourmet kitchen opens to the living area and includes Viking appliances, double ovens, granite countertops, alder wood custom cabinets and a TV. There is an eating area in the kitchen as well as an eating bar between the kitchen and living room.
The dining room is next to the kitchen and seats eight. There is a deck off the dining room with a large new gas barbeque, a teak table and 6 chairs and a small refrigerator for storing drinks. Also on this level is an office/den with a TV/DVD, wireless internet, a couch and a large desk. A half bath is next to the office/den.
On the lower level are three bedrooms and two full baths. The Master Bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, a new flat screen TV/DVD, a walk-in closet and a bathroom with double sinks, and a separate area with toilet and large shower. There is a deck off the Master Bedroom with sliding glass doors that overlooks the grassy area and the Lake beyond.
Also on this level are two additional bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and the other with bunk beds, each bedroom has a TV/DVD and there is a full bathroom to be shared with a shower/tub combination. A few steps down is the laundry room with new washer and dryer units and a large folding area. The hot water heater and two heaters for the unit were replaced in 2007.
Upstairs from the main living area is a large loft bedroom with twin beds, TV/DVD, sitting area, closet and a full bathroom with tub/shower combination.
The unit is fully furnished, including linens, paper products, bath soap, laundry and cleaning supplies and spices in the kitchen. Just bring your food, your clothes, your beach and sporting supplies and enjoy! The beach is across the lawn and through a privacy gate.
A boat Buoy is available at an extra cost. Access to your boat is by buoy attendant that delivers you to your boat. The grassy area is great for children to play on and the driveway is perfect for bike riding.
