Playa del Sol Grande Unit 1401 (master suite with King bed, living room, full kitchen, patio deck) and its lock-off studio neighbor 1403 (2 Queen beds, shower bath, galley kitchen & deck), sleep, with the fold out couch in 1401’s living room, six adults.
The units are located on the 4th floor of a 5 floor building in a luxury condo / hotel complex on the beach. Because of its unique location—on a south facing corner, these units enjoy a sweeping panoramic view to the south of the Bay of Banderas and all the way to the north of Punta Mita and far out into the Bay. You can even see the fireworks on the pier in Puerta Vallrarta every night! But mostly what you see are dolphins frolicking, whales spouting, pelicans soaring past and all the other abundant birdlife in this tropical paradise. Each unit has its own private deck with table and chairs from which to enjoy all of the above white the continuous lull of the gentle surf soothes the vacationer’s soul.
The complex has a delightful infinity pool surrounded by palm trees and deck chairs. There are water aerobics classes and water volley ball games. There are also salsa dancing classes and loads of fun activities for the whole family. The hotel even offers childcare for a fee. There’s a state of the art spa and a workout gym but you may prefer to walk north on the wide clean beach to Busarias, a charming village 1 mile to the north where there are many superb restaurants and fun shopping. There are four restaurants on site and many taxis, a shuttle and local buses to take you into Flamingos for shopping at the modern grocery store.
Puerta Vallarta with its cosmopolitan amenities and world class restaurants is a forty minute drive into town. There are many units for rent in the area but none with the direct, immediate RIGHT ON THE BEACH views and beach access that this one has and certainly none at the very reasonable cost that is far less than what the hotel charges for a similar unit. Units 1401/1403 Playa del Sol Grande is a unique opportunity for a GREAT vacation!
