We are not absentee owners, and so the property is very well kept. We want our renters to know we care about the property and like to know who we are renting to. We are very fair and have never deducted anything unsubstantiated. We also find it unacceptable for this guest or anyone to have open fires on the beach at night.

Owners are very uptight. Expect daily unannounced visits. Things are falling apart and decor is very dated (1970's.) However it is a big house with lots of rooms and the location is excellent. If you don't mind living under a microscope on your vacation, it's okay. Make sure you have them there when you leave so they can see if you have cleaned, otherwise they will ding you and there is nothing you can do as they take a massive damage deposit.
