We had such a great time at this cabin! The wood burning stove and all the antiques really added so much charm! The location was great for popping over to the ski areas during the day. Then after a rough day of hitting the slopes, we relaxed in the hot tub while the snow fell. Will definitely be staying there again if we are in the area! Thanks again!

Some family (6 adults, 2 small children and 2 dogs) gathered at this beautiful Monterey home to celebrate a birthday and the new year over a long weekend. The house was absolutely perfect - well kept with many amenities, great furniture, a cozy wood stove/fireplace, great hot tub with a view of the stars, open kitchen that was stocked with all necessities and wonderfully decorated. To top it all off, interactions with the owners were quick, smooth and very easy making the whole experience a pleasure. We hunkered down and went for long walks, cooked up a storm, played games in front of a roaring fire and felt like we were at home the whole time. We're already talking about making the trip to this Monterey retreat an annual tradition!

We had a great family holiday here. Everything was easy to use, and the spot was beautiful. We had lots of snow, were plowed out quickly, and enjoyed the house and the immediate area. I recommend this highly!

We enjoyed this home immensely. Everything was very nice and plenty of room 5. The kitchen was great with numerous amenities. Same for the location, convenient to the AT and many nearby attractions, but secluded enough to enjoy the setting. We had plenty of room with 2 adult children and a preteen to get together - and away when necessary. Owner, Jay was upfront with everything as great hosts are. It was wonderful for the kids, younger, older and the dog as well. All had a great time. Thanks for opening your home for others to enjoy. We will be back.

The location of the house is terrific, in such close proximity to Lake Garfield and all the other treasures of the Monterey area. The Nadelson touch was also appreciated, with ver thoughtful instructions about the house itself as well as the nearby sights and activities. Highly recommended!

We spent our summer vacation here and it was an absolutely lovely week. Our ebullient children are 6 and 3, and the house was set up perfectly for our needs -- plenty of space, a fully stocked kitchen so we didn't have to suffer through restaurant meals with young ones, clean, cozy, and luxuriously comfortable. The nearby Lake Garfield was picturesque and there are lots of nearby opportunities for family adventures, from Tanglewood to Jacob's Pillow to the Norman Rockwell Museum to modest hikes. We plan to make this an annual retreat!

Great weekend had by: -Family of 3 (2.5 year old daughter) -Family of 4 (2 year old daughter and 2 month old daughter) Plenty of room, beautiful property, close to a lake and a nice General Store. Only downside was the funky sulphur smell with the water. But we got over that quickly given the rest of the great positives!

We spent a very fun long weekend here in the spring and everything was fantastic. We were two couples and three small children (ages 3-6) and the house accommodated us very well. It's a lovely house and area, and Jay was very helpful. We hope to come back!

This is the GOLD standard by which all other properties should be measured. Being a realtor, my expectations for a property were very high. When planning a trip to the Berkshires, I wanted a few things; fireplace, hot tub, and a cabin environment (it is the mountains afterall and I live in Florida). After searching for weeks this was the ONLY property that had everything on my list and it was PERFECT. It has chalet style architecture with plenty of rooms to get away, the open eat-in kitchen was ideal to cook or sit at the long table with WIFI, sliding glass doors open to a deck with a grill and hot tub or inside a large screened in porch, all with comfortable furniture, large tables, and mountain accessorized. The wood burning stove opened up like a fireplace and was very cozy. The master has its own covered deck and i watched deer graze in the morning over breakfast. There's a loft with skylights upstairs with tv and surround sound which is great for kids (think 3 stories... as 2 bedrooms are downstairs, 1 on main level and then the loft..). We visited the nearby goat farm and ate the best chevre cheese i've ever tasted. The view was incredible and the hot tub under the stars with wine in hand...well...we will be back....

Had a great time in this quaint New England home in the woods. Great hot tub and a cool little General Store just up the road for good breakfast. Also close to Great Barrington (15 minutes) for all other needs. Had deer in the yard and owls at night nearby. If desired, great runs right here on dirt country roads where the neighbors all said "Hi" Highly recommended, we may swing back on the way back out West, thanks Jay!

Your home in Monterey was spectacular. The house was in great shape and very comfortable. I didn't get a chance to try the hot tub, but the other guests did and said it was fantastic. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your home.

This home was ideal for getting away -- perfectly secluded and private but close enough to everything one needs (activities, grocery store, etc.). The property is beautiful as is the home itself (loved the sizable kitchen and hot tub in particular). The porch would be great for spring/summer. Would highly recommend.

Jay, Thank you for sharing your cabin over the New Year's holiday. Everything was as described. The hot tub was great! It was so nice at night looking at the stars or watching the snow fall! The location was easy to get to and the setting was very private. The road and driveway were plowed right away when it snowed. The wood stove kept the cabin warm and toasty. We had a great time and would recommend it to any couple who would like a romantic get-away, but it is also big enough to be used comfortably by a larger group. Thank you again, it was a perfect way to start a new year!
