Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2008
My husband and I live in the Denver, CO area with our 2 young kids. We love the outdoors and everything that Colorado has to offer including great skiing, biking and hiking.
Why the Owner Chose Meadowridge
With 2 little kids in tow, we wanted to buy a place in the mountains to create great memories while adding some flexibility to our outdoor activities. We looked at different mountain towns, and decided on Fraser/Winter Park because of the scenery, the ski resort, and the friendly people we met every time we visited. We decided on Meadowridge because of the fantastic club house and amenities and close proximity to many amenities.
The Unique Benefits of this Townhome
I love to relax in our cozy place. It's big enough for 2 families to share too. I enjoy a morning cup of coffee while watching the sunrise over the mountains. And the whole family loves the heated outdoor pool and hot tubs. The fitness center is great when it's not nice enough to play outdoors. The free bus shuttle gives my husband and I flexibility if one of us has to leave the ski hill early. These amenities are perfect for families with kids, especially. And we have great neighbors/friends. We've just completed many upgrades and keep it top notch since we use it too.

Best VRBO Property We've Rented!

Stayed At This Propety - 01/08/12 - 01/12/12 The owners of this property are a model of how to operate! Everything about the property was exactly as promised and the owners were very helpful with any questions we had. The unit is literally a 3 minute walk from the front door of the clubhouse & bus stop. The town home was nicely furnished and also stocks several items that are very helpful for a young family. We ended up with 5 adults and two children (4 & 13mths) and felt like we had plenty of space. The bathrooms are very nice and the water pressure in the showers was outstanding! Downstairs bedrooms are very quiet and the rest of the floor plan worked well for our group. The stairs were a temptation for our 13 month old but nothing that a strategically placed bookshelf couldn't negate. The unit was also extremely clean and it's obvious that the owners keep it updated on a regular basis. All of the information relating to the rental itself and the process of renting was extremely organized and professional. A check returning the security deposit was in the mail promptly. The ski locker was great for us as we were in the Winter Park area to ski. However, this location is perfect for a summer vacation as well with Rocky Mountain National Park right up the road. Also, if you're skiing you can rent nice equipment from Ski Broker in the clubhouse across the street. It doesn't get much more easier unless you're staying on the mountain. I can't say enough about the owners of this property. This unit will definitely be at the top of our list for any future vacation in the Fraser valley.

From our in-home guest book: Thank you! We had a wonderful stay in your condo. All the kids and their cousins enjoyed the games and the family hot tub. Sophie (who just turned 4 while we were here) says "I loved the bunk beds."

Great weekend getaway home for the winter park area, close to ski resort, even with Shuttle Bus stopping right outside of the home. The place is clean, comfortable with all the updated amenities, and even with a real fireplace. We had a great time skiing and would highly recommend this to all our friends. Thank you so much.

Wonderful time! Great location, quiet complex, lovely pool and hot tub. Everything you need for a home away from home, even with 3 boys (6, 4, 2). Can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much! The Walker Family. PS. Only thing we missed was a tea pot. Owner: The teapot is a great idea and I am looking to get one in in time for the holidays. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time!! Your condo is so nice and this is a beautiful time of the year here! The lads especially liked it – they went horse-back riding 5 times at Snow Mountain Ranch. We were also lucky enough to be here for the season’s first snowfall in the mountains and it was absolutely beautiful. We’ll see you again next year!!

Comment from in-house Guest book: Dear Catherine, Eric and family, First of all thank you very much for working with us on the dates! We are so happy we were able to be here. Once again, your hospitality and your attention to detail in your condo made our stay great! The new TV and DVR, the bathroom upstairs; all very nice! Thanks for making your home available to us. It is our “home away from home” in Colorado. Peace to all of you.

The condo was a great place to relax after our busy days at heritage camp up at Snow Mountain Ranch. While three of us were at heritage camp, two others enjoyed the pool, racquetball, and tennis. We also enjoyed all the summer fun at Winter Park. Having two TVs was great. The adults were able to watch a movie that was not rated G. The unit was clean and spacious enough for two families. We plan on staying again next year.

Comment from our in-house guestbook: Thank you for a wonderful stay at your nice condo. After 20 hrs of driving, we were glad to be here. Our kids were eager to "pick beds". We enjoyed some good grilling and great mountain breakfasts while here. Although the weather was less than perfect for our version of June - we were prepared. It didn't slow us down too much as we still were able to take the Georgetown loop train - beautiful, take the chairlift to the top of Winter Park ski resort, and view lots of wildlife in RMNP. We were thrilled to see moose and elk up close hiking - our vacation with 3 kids was beautiful and memorable. We enjoyed the club house, the mountain view pool and warm hot tub. We saw a fox while walking back to the condo from the club house. We loved our stay here - everything we needed. It was quite a treat for our family - and a first taste of the mountains for our children.
