The 750 sq.ft. furnished rental offers something enchanting, private, and relaxing for yourself and your companion. The fun and warmth of its five rooms come from an eclectic mix of Southwest, Mission, Old West, and Mexican decor, reflecting the contrasting cultures that have blended in Tucson. Each room is designed to be a unique environment, and the tall windows, transoms, crown moldings, ceiling fans, hardwood floors, and 10-ft.ceilings make each space authentically inviting and comfortable. It's a perfect retreat for business visitors, couples on vacation, and parents visiting students.
The neighborhood is equally splendid. Armory Park began as a military plaza in downtown Tucson, but when the Transcontinental RailRoad reached Tucson in 1920, the area transformed into a residential area inhabited by prominent RailRoad executives, affluent entrepreneurs, & working-class people. The neighborhood became a mix of Victorian, Tudor, Queen Anne, Spanish Colonial, Mission, & bungalow-style structures.
This historical building, built in 1903, is located just blocks from the Tucson Community Center, downtown businesses & government buildings, the railroad station, the hub for Tucson's bus system, and three culturally-rich historic neighboring districts filled with homes, museums, live theatre, shops, restaurants and churches. It is minutes away from the 4th Avenue Arts District, University of AZ Main Campus, Pima Community College, Z Mansion, the Stillwell House, & University Medical Center.

- Armory Park has been undergoing major redevelopment as an Arts District during the past 10 years. In addition to an actual park and senior center adjacent to it, the neighborhood houses the Theatre of Music & Art, Tucson's Carnegie Library (now the Childrens' Museum), the Center for the Performing Arts (in the old Catholic Church across the street), Beowulf Alley, and many galleries, shops and restaurants. Walking visitors can enjoy old homes in the 30-block Armory Park District, & in neighboring historic districts - the Old Barrio, El Presidio, & the Mansions of Main Street. There are organized walking tours of these areas as well. Additionally, the Downtown YMCA is only blocks away.

Downtown Tucson offers an historical mix of contrasting cultures. The building was built as a 4-plex in the early 1900s by the railroad company, and its interior (tall windows, transoms, crown moldings, ceiling fans, hardwood floors & 10-foot ceilings) provided a perfect backdrop for a mix of Southwest, Mission, Old West and Mexican decor. Renovations were designed for modern comfort only (air conditioning, etc., as care was taken to preserve the old-world charm that makes the property unique.
