RiverRun Cottage offers the serenity of country comfort along with easy accessibility to downtown Leavenworth and the many activites Leavenworth has to offer. Watch the River Rafters load and head down river from your comfortable covered deck. It's a bird-lovers paradise, year-round, with frequent sittings of bald eagle, osprey, Canadian geese and ducks. We even had a swan visit us last year! Often snowy winters bring in playful otters across the river from the Cottage.
You have easy access to a small, sandy beach and for cooler evenings, a fire pit in the front, beautifully landscaped 1/2 acre. Lots of salmon and steelhead are in the river and fishing is permitted when season is open.
Although in a private setting, the Cottage is only two miles from the Bavarian Village, close to the festivals, fine restaurants, out-of-this-world shopping and live theater, Other nearby activities include river rafting, hiking, XX skiing, golfing, parks and scenic drives.

Year Purchased: 2000
Life seems to revolve around the grandkids these days - all nine of them (with another on the way). We moved to Leavenworth and purchased property along the Wenatchee River in 1967, the year we were married. In 2000 the dream of a 'Cottage' was fulfilled. The Cottage is on the same property as our family home. We're surrounded by orchard, hills and river and along with our Cottage guests, enjoy seasonal changes along with river, wildlife, fishing for salmon and steelhead and sitting on the beach in the summer. Close proximity to town is great, especially in the snowy winter months. Our kids live, while not in town, close enough to visit often and the grands love the wide open lawn (soccer!), gardens and river as much as we do, so we see them often.

This cabin is super cute, cozy and personal. The owner, Ann, lives next door and is very responsive. She will provide any insights you need, and answer all of your questions. In the summer, you would be more apt to be able to sit outside on the deck and enjoy the river, but nonetheless, it was fabulous. Close enough to town, but not right on top of town.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway.

We enjoyed this place very much. It was a very warm and peaceful cabin on the river. The owner was very nice and the place was clean and very comfortable. The hot tub on the porch was awesome. Thank you for allowing us to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary there.

What a relaxing getaway River Run ended up being for my husband and I!!! Just shy eleven days of our one-year wedding anniversary, we wanted to go somewhere that reminded us of home (Michigan) and we found the perfect place. It was EXACTLY what both of us needed. Happy Holidays.

A peaceful, tranquil, quiet getaway for my husband's birthday. The Wenatchee river view is slow and mesmerizing .. abundant with wildlife and an occassional fisherman. We have been to Leavenworth several times before, but as always it is truly a novelty ... and just what we need to get into the holiday spirit. We had a great time exploring the back roads and supporting the local ecomony. Thank you for a welcome respite.

Thank you so much for your generous hospitality. The Cottage is a jewel with fabulous creature comforts such as the fluffy throw blankets! Geese on the river this morning - also two pair of ducks with vibrant green hoods on the males. Thanks for inviting us to your bonfire last night. It was fun.
