Absolutely beautiful direct oceanfront condo located on a pristine stretch of sandy beach on the world famous A1A Scenic Highway in the quaint town of Ormond By The Sea, Florida. The elegant warm atmosphere of the condo draws you in from the moment you arrive. You can view one mile of car free beach and surf from the living room with direct oceanfront views from the kitchen and master bedroom as well. Feel at home with 2 flat screen televisions, high speed wireless internet access and full telephone service including long distance calls. The pillowtop KING BED with Captivation Mattress (you'll want one of these back home) in the master makes for a heavenly night's sleep. The beachfront pool takes your senses on an unforgettable journey and the experience is priceless and memorable.
Granite counters in kitchen and bathrooms, stainless steel appliances, comfortable furniture with an upscale nautical theme. All floors are tile with area rugs throughout. Mirrored walls in living room and original art pieces enhance the beachy theme. This condo is fully furnished including towels,Waverly linens, dishes, pots & pans, beach chairs and umbrella. It has been impeccably maintained and pride of ownership shows.
Please note that this is a condo that is best suited for a single person or two people maximum as the second bedroom is set up as an office complete with with desk and decorative storage cabinets. For occasional or unexpected guests, there is a comfortable roll away bed for the office and the lving room sofa is a sleeper. The internet access is high speed Broadband via RoadRunner with WIFI. Note there is no dining room table, but rather a granite bar for 2 people that separates the living room and kitchen. There are TV trays available also for those who do not wish to sit at the bar.
This condo is 1000 square feet with a nice balcony that is shielded from the wind and overlooks the beautiful Atlantic ocean. Wind surfers are out front practically every day and this is where the Right Whales come to calve.
The Atlantic-22 condominium complex has 22 units and #401 is a 4th floor corner unit on the South side of the building so it is bright and sunny all day. The elevator is secured with key entry as are the stairs. Parking for one vehicle is covered and reserved in space #15. Owner prefers 1 month minimum rental with no pets allowed and absolutely no smoking. It is probably not well suited for children.
The condo is conveniently located with easy access to I-95 and I-4 as well as four international airports including Daytona Beach (20 Minutes), Sanford (1 hour), Orlando (1 hour) and Jacksonville (1 1/2 hours). The Daytona Beach area is home to numerous exciting and educational attractions including Daytona International Speedway, Daytona 500 Experience (the official attraction of NASCAR), Ponce de Leon Lighthouse, Marine Science Center, Deep Sea Fishing and an array of water sports including surfing, kayaking, kite boarding and scuba diving. Atlantic 22 condominium is less than a 2 hour drive to all Orlando area attractions including Kennedy Space Center, Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World. America's oldest city - St Augustine - is just 1 hour away.
OUR LITTLE CORNER OF FLORIDA IS FILLED WITH GREAT THINGS. (1) Water: boating, skiing, swimming, surfing, fishing, canoeing (2) Beaches: 70 miles of beaches between Volusia and Flagler counties including 11 beachfront parks in Volusia plus Washington Oaks Gardens in Flagler County along with the 90 acre River to Sea Preserve. (3) Other Natural Spaces: A dozen state parks, including Blue Spring DeLeon Springs, Gamble Rogers and Tomoka State Park offering easy access to hiking trails, camping and other natural out-door recreation. (4) People: Less congestion with only about 375 people per square mile (5) Culture: Really. Volusia and Flagler counties are culture hot spots that are world class. Some worthy of mention are the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona Beach, The Casements in Ormond Beach, the historic Oceanfront Park Bandshell, the newly redone and expanded Ocean Center, the Southeastern Museum of Photography at Daytona State College, the new Hand Art Center at Stetson University, along with heritage sites like DeBary Hall and the Pioneer Settlement for the Creative Arts. There are art festivals galore: Images in New Smyrna Beach, the DeLand Fall Festival of the Arts and the Halifax Art Festival in Daytona Beach. (6) Weather: The average winter temperature is 61.5 and the summer average is 87.0 making all year round a great time to enjoy outdoor recreation and culture.

Why the Owner Chose Ormond By The Sea
We bought this condo because it is in a small complex (22 units) and the unit is located on the South side, 4th floor (not too high) corner of the building. This location has a sweeping ocean view that is perfectly beautiful no matter what kind of weather or time of day. The people at the condo are friendly and the majority of the residents are owners who live there full time. The Board of Directors is pro-active and keeps the condo in beautiful condition.

Owner's Map of Ormond By The Sea
BJ and her husband Jack live in a country house in New Smyrna Beach along with Raggedy Andy, a RagaMuffin kitten that rules the roost. They all enjoy traveling in their motor home that Jack jokes is the biggest "cat house" in the United States. Jack is a retired police captain from Las Vegas. BJ was a banker for 31 years in Virginia, Nevada and Florida before retiring as Executive Vice President of Citrus National Bank in Crystal River. BJ says "we love the beach and our condo and just wish we had more time to use it." We hope you enjoy it also!!

BJ - Happy New Year! I'll have all our personal effects out of your wonderful condo by about noon on the 31st except me and probably my laptop. I have to wait for Jeannett who has the car but I won't be in the maid's way. Hi BJ & Jack, we are home safe..a long but uneventful drive..good weather all the way. We had a wonderful vacation in your beautiful condo. It is a real pleasure to find folks like you who care about the guests who rent your vacation home. After our last of several unfortunate experiences at rental properties on the NC Outer Banks, we decided to try Florida and the Daytona area in particular. We could not be more pleased with your condo and expecially the grand and tasteful way you have stocked, furnished and decorated. There was not even one thing during our stay that you did not anticipate. Thanks also to Jack for taking the time to greet us and nswer our questions. We appreciated his visit very much. Also, thanks for arranging a Shuttle launch for our enjoyment during our stay. April cannot come too soon. It will be great to get back to Ormond By The Sea.
