Island House is located directly on the Atlantic Ocean, on Anastasia Island, 8 miles south of St. Augustine, Florida. The townhouse has 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths with 1350 sq. ft. of living space. There are 4 balconies, 3 of them private, each with an ocean view. There are two tables for eating on the front and back balconies. The unit has seen some nice renovations with bamboo floors and stairs, kitchen cabinets, tiled kitchen and laundry with an upgraded 1/2 bath downstairs.
Island House has a nice clubhouse with private kitchen for parties near the pool. There is a boardwalk leading from the pool area to the beach. The beach is wide with beautiful white sand for playing and relaxation. The unit is decorated with an island/beach motif and is very comfortable and convenient to the beach and pool areas.

Year Purchased: 2001
Owners live in Gainesville, Florida and have since 1987. Tom is a Physician Assistant with Pain Medicine in a private practice. Linda is an interior decorator and works for a fabric mill as their decorator. They have one daughter (31) who lives in town and works for the sheriff's department. They have been married 35 years and met at the University of Florida. They are big Gator fans and have season tickets for all the home games. Tom likes outdoor sports such as kayaking, archery, hiking and weightlifting. Linda enjoys walking, lunch with friends, scrapbooking, decorative sewing and painting and shopping.
Why the Owner Chose St. Augustine
We thought it would be fun and an investment while being able to go over often and enjoy the beach and surrounding area.
The Unique Benefits of this Townhouse
We love the wide beaches and how convenient it is to step out your door and be on the beach in a matter of minutes. The restaurants are great. Our favorites are Salt Water Cowboys, Schooners, Barnicle Bills, The Beachcomer, Caps on the Water and Creekside. The downtown area is fun with restaurants, shops and antique stores. We love to stroll St. George Street. Linda like to shop and enjoys the outlet mall and Tom likes to run on the beach and get some sun and browse Gander Mountain. They just like the relaxing feeing they get when they are at the townhouse and just do what they want to and enjoy life.
