Todos Santos is recognized and designated as a "Pueblo Magico" by the Mexican Government. Todos Santos is much cooler than both Los Cabos and La Paz because of cooling Pacific breezes. Todos Santos is an ideal getaway during the winter, spring and early summer months.
WHALES
From January through March it is very likely you will see groups of whales on their migration from Alaska and Siberia to winter in the warm waters of Baja California and the Sea of Cortez. Sometimes they are so close to the beach you can hear them breathing. Casa Gras is a great place to sit, relax and watch the whales put on a show.
TURTLES
Our beaches in Todos Santos are the nesting grounds of Olive Ridley, Black, and Leatherback sea turtles, all of which are on the endangered species list. A local organization, Todos Tortugueros is dedicated to the protection of endangered sea turtles and their habitat. For information on how to participate in releases contact Tortugueros Tortugas.

We had Casa Gras built so we could be close to our family who have lived and raised their children in Todos Santos.
Casa Gras is one of the most peaceful and beautiful places I have ever been. There are so many positive things here; the expanse of stars in the night sky, the sound of the crashing waves that rock you to sleep, the wildlife all around, the most fabulous place if you're a birder, watching the whales literally fly out of the water and then crash back down, releasing baby turtles on the beach, watching the surfers at La Pastora, going to the Dharma Talk on Sunday morning, cooking an amazing Mexican meal in the kitchen while everyone is laughing and having a great time, watching the sunset from the front patio, watering the hibiscus and oleanders in the morning, driving over to Punta Pescadero to snorkel for the day, walking on the beach in the morning and afternoon and chances are you're the only one there, seeing manta rays in the waves, watching the pelicans swoop over the waves on their way back to Punta Lobos to meet the pangueros after their day out fishing. I'm sure I've missed 100 more things that are unique about staying at Casa Gras, but these are just some.
Hotel California:Upon arrival our Property Management representative will meet you and guide you to Casa Gras.
La Pastora sometimes gets double to triple overhead. Fabulous place to surf or just watch.

South of Todos Santos at Km. 64. Take the dirt road 1.5 miles to the beach. A vast stretch of beach, one of the safest beaches near Todos Santos for swimming, shell collecting or learning to surf!
Ron retired from Chevron Marketing and has been a fly-fishing guide in Montana, Alaska, New Mexico and Washington. His passion is fly-fishing and spends much of his time in Todos Santos doing just that. Lisa is an aerospace flammability engineer, and loves the outdoors and is honing her skills kayaking. The first time we were in Todos Santos we recognized the unique qualities of the area; the "Miraculous Air", the beautiful ocean right in front of our eyes, and the kindness of the people who live there. In the coming years we hope to spend more time at Casa Gras, but for now we are happy to share Casa Gras with you. We know you will fall in love with the peace and tranquility of our Pueblo Magico.
