This awesome home offers a large living room with lots of seating. It features TWO family DENS w/ LCD 42" TVs located on separate floors. An oversized gourmet kitchen with breakfast table and bar. The formal DINING room seats 12 and overlooks your private dip pool.
3rd floor TERRACE is over 600 square feet ... great breeze and views.
Casa Tortuga (THE EMBASSY) is a SMOKE FREE HOUSE. There are plenty of covered outside areas for smoking.
Walk to the beach ( 100 YARDS )and enjoy chaise lounges under the palms or relax by our oceanfront pool with swim-up bar. Playa Hermosa offers a world class surfbreak and is A TURTLE RESERVE (turtles released during season ).
This house offers 2 large king suites, 1 queen suite, 1 bunk w/4 singles, 1 BR w/2 singles , 1 downstairs private single BR off kitchen
Laundry room is located on the second floor.
Each floor has a balcony or terrace. The second floor balcony overlooks the pool and the massive 3rd floor covered terrace offers lots of seating and stunning views of the mountains.
This home can also be configured to accomodate smaller parties that need only 4 or 5 bedrooms. We also have 2 other 3-BR rentals in the same development that rent for less.
This home the largest rental and is in the nicest oceanfront communtiy in Costa Rica.

There are several great tours close by for you to enjoy. The Crocodile man tour, Canopy/Zip line tour, ½ or full day deep sea fishing, ATV tours, Monkey Tour and surf lessons or board rentals. If you need help booking these or any other tours Michael and I will be happy to assist.
The Hermosa/ Jaco area has many wonderful restaurants. A few of our favorites are Jungle Surf in Hermosa (great tuna), The Poseidon Restaurant, Los Amigos and Taco Bar in Jaco. If you are looking for a typical plate Soda Garabito (close to Santa Catalina Clinic) also in Jaco is the locals choice for good food at a great price.
The house is equipped with cable TV and wireless internet.

We stayed in the house for a week. The house is extremely comfortable and brand new. There is a lot of room as one can see on the pictures. The owner lives nearby and was very nice to us (lent us some music instruments, barbecue). The gated community is really cool too. One can even rent bodyboard and surfboards there. And the pool is big and nice! Thanks for everything!
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Newish, alots a room, alots of seating. clean, great t v s . short coming, several bedroom doors would not stay closed bad locks, , a/c in mast bedroom suite did not work for 7 days stay, owner never did fix , after having tech ck it., we cooled via hall fan not good for price paid, still hot. . Very poor lighting master suite bath 1 small light and receptacle difficult to reach. Pool is surprising small compared to ad and is somewhat cold to swim in. Owners were helpful other than a/c problem. Great surf and beach, and very large warm community pool in the gated community. About 6 miles to Jaco, 1 1/2 miles being gravel pot holed road.
Owner response:We strive to have the best standards in our rental home, and have several renters that return to our home , again and again. The renter is correct , several doors did not close due to warpaing, and those doors have been planed, the locks did not work due to a mis alignment, which also has been fixed. The A/c repair company did come out, and said the unit in the master suite was fixed, and it did not cool. It took another week to get them back out, and we ended up replacing the AC unit ....only 3 years old. We have our AC units serviced every 90 days. Maybe we should measure the private pool so guests will know the exact dims..... but we have never had a negative feedback like this one. There is a 1/2 acre oceanfront pool across the street, with swim up bar, so weput in a small pool private pool at our house . Hermosa Palms is a unique full oceanfront gated development, and there is no other like it in the Jaco / Hermosa area. Thanks for the feedback , and we will do our best to use it to make the home for future renters, and offer these renters a 10% discount on another rental.

Hermosa Palms is a nice family destination a short drive away from the Jaco scene. We have stayed at several other Playa Hermosa motels, condos etc...and through the years watched the construction of Hermosa Palms complex. Once you stay at the palms you'll see what a great deal and value it is for a family or group. If you surf this is the spot you wanna be at. Before staying at #86 we rented other homes in this complex (as have our family and friends) and can say Mike's house is one of the best. As with all of his homes they are well maintained, clean and delivered as promised. Mike is trustworthy and a pleasure to deal with.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
