  • Hotel Bamboo isn't a hotel - it's truly a home, and one of the most magical, special places in Los Angeles. My wife and I were married there and we - and all of our guests - agreed that we couldn't have picked a more beautiful place for our small ceremony. Henry and the Bamboo Crew are very cool, courteous and helpful. They're never more than a phone call away but very respectful of your privacy. Highly recommended!

  • What a treat! Henry is the best and the Koi suite was such an amazing get-a-way. The bedroom was so comfortable, I didn't want to leave! Perfect for someone who doesn't want to deal with the Hollywood hoopla of a hotel with a scene. Thanks for a wonderful and relaxing stay.

  • I was so relieved to find the Bamboo retreats when I was staying in LA..great place to write music and found myself happy just staying in and chilling much more than I would if I was in a city hotel...great place to wake up in the morning,really well designed space and Henry is a very accomodating host-cool guy.   • Zen Retreat is the best place in LA to stay. It is a home away from home for a day or for a month. Whatever your reason for traveling stay here. They will even let you borrow their dog Leo if you miss your little one.

  • For two months over the summer of 2009, I stayed in the studio unit on Dearborn. From the moment I walked into it, I knew I was going to be very comfortable. Walking out 8 weeks later, I felt like I was leaving home. With its roll up garage door wall revealing an amazing view of Beachwood Canyon, the soothing sounds of a water feature, the fireplace, the small but efficient kitchen, the wide- screen TV with state-of-the art sound....the place was truly a 'retreat' from the work I was in LA for. I cannot recommend it enough and plan to make it my new home in LA when I'm there on business.
