Well-maintained, cozy and comfy condo at the Best Location at Shanty Creek Resort: The top of Summit Mountain, right off of the Timberline Shops boardwalk and steps away from the newly renovated Lakeview Hotel & Conference Center! If you want to ski Schuss Mountain with your Summit Mountain lift ticket, all you have to do is drive down the street (or grab the shuttle) and jump on the lift at Cedar River! Also close to the tubing park, and ski rental (inside Lakeview Hotel).
True Ski-in/Ski-out and true golf view! Step off the rear deck right onto Summit Mountain for skiing during ski season. For golf season, the front deck overlooks the famous Legend Golf Course and the Legend Club House is across the street. Legend, Summit, Cedar River and Schuss Mountain golf courses are on the resort and The Chief (off-resort) is a very quick drive away.
Enjoy this unit for a warm and cozy après ski experience or golf retreat, then head to the bars and restaurants in downtown Bellaire or the Lakeview Hotel.
This is a fully furnished 1100+ square foot two bedroom, two-bath condominium that sleeps 6-8 comfortably, plus one more in a convertible ottoman/cot. Also great for two couples that want to have a ski trip with privacy when needed.

- Air Conditioning: Unit has central air. Master bedroom has a dedicated thermostat.
- Washer: Large capacity top-loading washer in unit (not shared). Detergent and fabric softener provided.
- Dryer: Large capacity front-loading dryer in unit (not shared).
- Linens Provided: Bed sheets, blankets, pillows, pillow cases, bath and kitchen towels are provided. Fresh towels also provided at the swimming pool at the Lakeview Hotel.
- Off Street Parking: Parking lot is directly in front of unit. We ask the guest limit the number of vehicles be limited to two (2). Vehicles towing trailers may be parked in the aforementioned lot. If parking capacity has been exceeded, the there is more parking a short walk away.
- Wood Fireplace: Wood fireplace in living room (see photos). Firewood is supplied in common stack, located outside.

- Shared Hot Tub: Guests have access to the hot tub, located in the Lakeview Hotel, adjacent to this unit. Fresh towels are provided in the hot tub/pool area.
- Shared Pool (2) : Guests have access to the swimming pool, located in the Lakeview Hotel, adjacent to this unit. Fresh towels are provided in the hot tub/pool area. The Lakeview Hotel features 2 pools: one indoor heated pool, with adjoining hot tub and one outdoor pool, which is open during the warmer months.

- Full Kitchen: Stove is electric, coffee service provided. Plates, glasses, coffee mugs, blender, carafe, toaster, electric tea kettle, slow cooker/crock pot and can opener are provided. Dish detergent, sponge and fresh dish towels are provided.
- Cooking Utensils Provided: Pots, pans, cutlery, dishes, bowls, cutting board, bottle opener/wine key, cooking utensils, muffin pan and baking sheets included.
- Refrigerator: Full-sized refrigerator/freezer has built-in automatic ice maker.
- Dishwasher: Includes dishwasher detergent.
- Microwave: Microwave is above the stove; it features preset cooking modes and turntable cooking and has a built-in vent-fan.

- Charcoal BBQ Grill (2) : Park-style grills are provided outside the front of the unit. Accessibility to these depends on how much snow is on the ground. Charcoal is not included, but is available nearby at Glen's Supermarket on M-88.
- Balcony: Master bedrooms has balcony that overlooking the 18th hole of the Legend golf course.
- Lanai: Living room walks-out to Lanai that in turn walks-out onto the "Sunlending" run. Salt and shovel are provided as this area is not immune to ice or snow.
- View/Location
- Lake View: Depending on the amount of foliage (none in winter), Lake Bellaire is visible from the back of the unit. A beautiful unobstructed view is seen from the Lakeview Hotel, next door.
- Golf Course View: Master bedroom overlooks the 18th hole of the Legend golf course at Shanty Creek. Clubhouse is within walking distance.
- Ski-In: Guests can ski to the unit from the top of the "Sunlending" run.
- Ski-Out: Guests can ski off of the rear deck steps and onto the "Sunlending" run.
- Communications
- Telephone: This unit has a single land line (VOIP), with cordless phone. Use of this phone is free and includes incoming calls, outbound local and long distance calls.
- Free Long Distance: Domestic long distance is included with phone service, however outbound overseas calls are blocked.
- Broadband Internet: Free high speed internet is provided via Shanty Creek's wireless high speed internet service. Technical support is not provided.
- WiFi (Wireless Internet): Wireless G standard is supported, technical support is not provided. WIFI has good signal strength throughout unit. Login/password should be acquired from the resort if requested.

Why the Owner Chose Bellaire
Shanty Creek has the right combination of features and amenities for us! When you combine the skiing/snowboarding with 4 great golf courses and proximity to Lake Bellaire and Downtown Bellaire, there is a nice small town feel with plenty of things to do, both on and off the resort. The icing on cake is that Shanty Creek is just far enough away from home to be a real vacation, while being close enough to keep the drive bearable. Another plus is all of the wonderful destinations in Northern Michigan are an easy drive away. You would not believe how much beautiful scenery (Torch Lake, Sleeping Bear Dunes, etc.) and other attractions are within 45 minutes of our place!
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
The back of the unit is ski-in/ski-out, with a small view of the Legend Golf course. The front balcony has a birds-eye view The Legend as well. We like to think of our Condo as being warm, quiet and cozy, with easy access to restaurants and bars. During the warm months, Summit Mountain is beautifully landscaped and still provides a nice, dark sky for stargazing. In autumn, the deck(s) and windows provide a panoramic view of brilliant Michigan fall colors; perfect for enjoying hot cider and a book! When the snow is falling, having the lift right off of the back deck is a favorite for all of the skiers and snowboarders who have stayed here. Even though Schuss Mountain is VERY close, there is nothing like stepping off the lift and being home with family and friends. Heck, we've ridden down the hill and jumped on the lift in shorts, so we could hit the pool in style! The Lakeview Hotel is steps away, so it's easy to skip staying in so you can hop next door for a meal or some bar time. Additionally, Arnie's is right across the street for something more casual.
