Why the Owner Chose Sandpoint
We were looking for a location that was easy to get to, has waterfront access and is close to snow skiing to make it a year round location. We found all of it at Dover Bay just 3 miles from Sandpoint, Idaho.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Dover Bay is the newest resort development on Lake Pend Oreille. It features 289 acres of mixed use development and residential housing. It has a city beach, store, restaurant, fitness center with pool, large marina with gas, and over 9 miles of paved trails within the development and a connection to the trail system that takes you to Sandpoint. There are great restuarants and shops in Sandpoint and Silverwood Theme Park just 30 minutes away.
One of the largests and deepest lakes in the USA. Great watersports from fishing to power boating.
Great all year round resort town. Great access by car or boat from Dover Bay Resort.
Just 8 miles to the base of the mountain from Dover Bay Resort. Great sking in winter and hiking in summer.

We are Mark and Lisa Hensley and we live in Spokane, WA about 80 miles from Dover Bay Resort. Lisa is a real estate agent and Mark works for a development company. We recently spent 5 nights in this beautiful condo in Dover, just outside of Sandpoint. The owners were super helpful, getting us lots of tourist info. and allowing us to use their mountain bikes, which our teenage son and daughter loved riding every day. The condo was amazing! Beautifully furnished, comfortable beds, nice balcony with gas barbecue. Use of the Dover Bay Marina's pool and fitness center was a huge plus. We will definitely take advantage of this great spot again!!!!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We stayed for 9 days in this wonderful condo at Dover Bay. It has all the amenities anyone would need. The king sized beds and large bedrooms are extremely comfortable. The view is great from the deck and it is very peaceful as there is not a lot of traffic. The new living room furniture is both gorgeous and comfy. The pool, workout facility and restaurant were an awesome bonus and it was so nice to have a boat slip at the marina which ensured our boat was protected from the elements at all times. The owners were a joy to work with and very professional. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this to all.

The condo was all that I expected and more, the view is spectacular, The open floor plan is really accomadating, Garage was nice and a nice BBQ Grill-- All in All made for a perfect weekend

We stayed at this condo for a long weekend. We have a one year old so it was great to have the extra space compared to a hotel room. It was just as advertised - great beds and furnishings, fully stocked, and had a wonderful view of the lake. It's very quiet and peaceful yet also close to Sandpoint and Schweitzer. The Dover Bay community is also very nice - lots of walking/biking trails and a marina with cafe. We would definitely stay there again!
