Secluded on a quiet breezy hillside surrounded by majestic trees, and glorious view of the Pamet Harbor, our house is airy, peaceful and architecturally beautiful.
The master bedroom with AC has its own bathroom, along with a walk-in closet.

It is a 5 minute bike ride to Corn Hill (bay) or Long Nook/Balston (ocean) beaches. Near local art center for classes, also Audubon center. Low traffic area - near Provincetown for shopping and art galleries, libraries, many fine restaurants, classes in windsurfing, sailing, bike paths. Extensive beaches, dunes are nearby. Bus service to nearby towns, smells of ocean, roses and pine, sense of local history all around.

Owner Description
Year Purchased: 1980
I am a New Englander, transplanted to the southwest in 1975. My cousin built this beautiful house for my parents in 1980 so they could be near the Atlantic ocean. Since we love being outside, the house is perfect for us with its porches, large windows and access to the breezes and view of trees, the bay, birds and daily rose colored sunsets. We come here because we know we can relax.
Why the Owner Chose Truro
We feel far away from big roads and stores and busy-ness. Our sons love to surf on the ocean side. At night, the trees around the house give us a quiet feeling of being remote and enveloped by the natural world. This part of the Cape is a haven for bird watchers and naturalists of all stripes. And not far away are wonderful restaurants and seafood markets, so we feel we have it all.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Even though we feel we are far away from towns, we do have internet cable service, carefully situated in the open loft, and there are in fact a couple of places to go nearby for bagels and coffee, and the paper. Our house is unique - artistically designed and simple, and very warm, much more than a vacation cabin.
