We are a semi-retired couple living in Arlington, Va. We invite you to enjoy the main level of our lovely Ranch style home: two bedrooms, two full baths; gourmet kitchen; dining room and living room (and deck and garden/pond seating in the nice weather).
The master bedroom has a queen size bed, a cozy fireplace, chaise lounge and vaulted ceiling with a master bath of a glass-enclosed shower, double sinks and Jacuzzi. The second bedroom has a full size bed and TV with a new second bathroom that has a tropical rainfall and jet shower.
Everything in our house has been upgraded and always draws rave reviews from friends. The spacious, bright and comfortable living room is decorated with unique model sailboats from all over the world - an ideal entertaining space.
There is a 32” flat screen HD TV in the kitchen/informal family area, Verizon FIOS Wi-Fi and cable network throughout the house. The kitchen has a Jenn-air gas stove and grill, and gourmet appliances. The separate formal mid-century modern dining room seats 8 comfortably.
We are an 8 minute drive to Georgetown or the Metro subway in Ballston; there are two bus lines within a few blocks and we're only 7 miles from the White House.
We can offer a few exciting “extras” to make your stay even more memorable. We can pick you up at the airport; stock the refrigerator with your favorites; and even arrange for catering. As lifelong residents, we can provide a fabulous, nighttime historical tour of Washington. We can also offer a boating experience (power or sail) on the Chesapeake Bay with separate arrangements.
$500 per night, 2 night minimum payable in advance and a $500 security deposit totally refundable.
