Resting directly on Ilwaco Harbor, the Captain's Quarters offers a peaceful yet vibrant coastal experience. Whether you're enjoying a romantic getaway or a fun time with friends, the Captain's Quarters will leave you feeling pampered and rested.
The Captain’s Quarters features: a 50-foot, front row boat slip; high speed wireless internet; digital cable television and DVD in each room; full stereo system with CD, DVD and VCR; gourmet kitchen with granite counters and two sinks; washer and dryer and fish cleaning table downstairs. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a king size bed with jetted tub in the master bath, and its own gas fireplace and TV/DVD. The second bedroom has a full bath ensuite also, with TV/DVD too. The third bedroom is more of a sleeping alcove, with a curtain for privacy, with a futon bed and its own TV/DVD setup. The living room is large and open with a bar area and dining area, large leather sectional sofa, gas fireplace and of course TV/DVD/VCR and stereo system. There’s even a desk area with internet access. The view from the living room is spectacular – the Port, the ships, the sunset – and you can enjoy it from inside in the living room or outside on the deck. The kitchen is centrally located with easy access to the dining area and its own pass through bar counter.
This luxurious condominium is nestled directly on the Port of Ilwaco. Cape Disappointment is only a short drive away, as well as Waikiki Beach and the North Head lighthouse. There are some good hiking opportunities at Beard’s Hollow and Cape D, or go fishing on the North Jetty. There are some wonderful art galleries at the Port, and during the summer months there’s Saturday Market, with a variety of local arts and crafts, foods, flowers and plants for sale. You can even see pirates at times. Ilwaco also has its own fireworks in July. The Port also features both casual and fine dining, with local seafood offerings created by our great chefs. Or take a charter trip for salmon, halibut, tuna or sturgeon.
More shopping and a variety of restaurants are a short drive away in Long Beach, plus lots of things for the kids to do. There’s miniature golf, the arcade and carnival rides right in the core area of downtown. Visit the Kite Museum or take a horseback ride on the beach. On Fridays during the summer you can check out the Farmers' Market in Long Beach. The Bolstad beach approach is a hub of activity year-round, but especially during the summer months, with the International Kite Festival in August and, of course fireworks on Independence Day and New Year’s Eve.
There’s even more to explore on the Long Beach Peninsula – all 26 plus miles of it. On the north end of the Peninsula is Ocean Park, with bookstores, restaurants and gift stores. Visit Jack’s Country Store to see this historic yet current meeting place. In Nahcotta you can buy fresh oysters and enjoy the wonderful views of Willapa Bay. On the extreme north end of the Peninsula, the place to see is Ledbetter Point State Park -- it’s a wonderful place for hiking to the beach or to the bay.
