Save $$$ renting this beautiful, three bedroom, two and a half bath, private home directly from the owners. Our two-story home is located in the family-oriented Mainsail Beach Resort complex.
We are just yards from the beach without the normal hassles of high rise elevators, but with all the amenities of a complex (tennis courts, two full-size pools (one heated), two kiddie pools, sauna, hot tub, video game room, exercise room, shuffleboard and basketball court, as well as seasonal beach service. You drive your car right up to the front door under cover of a carport. Your children can play in the yard or swim in the heated pool just outside our back patio door.
Mainsail is a 15-acre Gulfside family resort located across the street from the Silver Sands Outlet Mall. The resort is a gated community with 24 hour security guards. During the summer season, many children's activity programs are offered. Our cottage is convenient to great golf courses, deep sea fishing, biking, shopping, great food, and all kinds of water activities.
The First Floor:
* Living room with 27" color cable TV, DVD, VCR, CD, and cassette player.
* Dining room seats six with additional seating for three at the kitchen bar.
* Kitchen is fully-equipped with electric stove, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, and coffeemaker.
* Laundry room - washer and dryer in unit.
* Half bath.
* Master bedroom suite with king-size bed, color cable TV, and full bath with double sinks and jacuzzi tub
* Patio with table and four chairs opening to back yard and pool area.
Second Floor:
* Bedroom with two twin beds.
* Bedroom with queen-size bed, color cable TV, and VCR.
* Balcony overlooking back yard and heated pool.
* Full bath.
Enjoy cooking in our fully-equipped kitchen or grill out using the gas grills provided in the pool area. Our beautifully decorated home is our "home away from home." For those times we can't be there, we enjoy renting it to families who agree to treat it as they would their own home.

Why the Owner Chose Mainsail
Tony started going to Destin with friends every Spring Break in 6th grade. We started going a couple years later when Tricia was ready for a Spring Break in Destin. We loved Destin so much, we went back for vacation every summer. We stayed at Beach House, SeaScape, Surfside, and Edgewater, before staying in a Mainsail townhouse. Mainsail was by far our favorite resort community. Everyone was so friendly and the resort is very family oriented. One of the Mainsail cottages was for sale and we went to see it. We decided since we loved Destin so much we might as well buy a place and rent it out until we are ready to reitre. It was agreat decision! We love our home and we have been lucky enough to find wonderful families to rent our home and take great care of it for us.
The Unique Benefits at this House
What we love most about our Mainsail cottage is we have a home to ourselves with a carport and yard. We don't have to find a cart and wait for an elevator to carry in our luggage or groceries. With a home, we have enough room for everyone to enjoy themselves without feeling crowded. I love the large kitchen. Most condos have such small kitchens I hate to cook in them.

We had a wonderful time at your beautiful cottage. Your home is beautiful - clean, neat & comfortable. The pool was very enjoyable & convenient right outside our door. We grilled out several nights & relaxed by the poolside in the evenings. We enjoyed the beach being so close to our cottage. The beach is absolutely beautiful! We walked the beach in the mornings & evenings. BEAUTIFUL!! The cottage is very convenient to a shopping outlet mall & grocery. There are nice restaurants close by. We hope to come back next year and look forward to another "girls getaway" at your beautiful home. We highly recommend your home for a nice, relaxing vacation. Thanks again for the use of your home.

Great girlfriend getaway. Beautiful beaches, blue water, umbrellas and chairs for reading and relaxing, lots of good places to eat and shopping. Very quiet and peaceful place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay in Destin at your home. It was so clean and inviting that it was easy to feel like we were at home. It was such a relaxing vacation for some old college friends and now with children to visit and get back in touch. With just a few minutes walk to the beach and with one of the pools just ourside our back door, there was always something closeby to do. The cottage worked out fabulous! We stayed at the end of December through New Years, and the heated pool was great. Everything we needed was provided at the cottage, and the beach is in walking distance. We had a great time even in the winter. The home is clean and has very comfortable beds. Our stay at the cottage was wonderful. It was like our "home away from home". It is a safe, gated community where you can feel safe with your children. The cottage was neat and clean and close to the beach. The cottage was well furnished and we had easy access to the pool and grills. There is shopping just across the street at the Silver Sands Outlet Mall. It is the most perfect vacation spot in Florida! We would recommend the cottage at Mainsail to anyone wishing for a paradise stay.

The time we spent in your cottage was wonderful. It was very well equipped & offered much comfort for our large family. The cottage was beautiful, even more than we expected. The close walk to the beach was also very nice since we had little ones traveling with us. We absolutely recommend this as the "place to be". It was a home away from home for us. We stayed in the cottage for a week on vacation and loved it, short walk to the beach, heated pool behind the cottage and great location to stay out of the traffic. The cottage was clean and well kept along with the grounds. We plan on coming back and stay in this cottage!
