Our building is directly across from Charlie Young Beach (Kamaole I), a world class beach that affords wonderful year around swimming, snorkeling, and spectacular whale watching from mid November through April. This is an excellent spot for novice snorkeling. There are several resident turtles that inhabit the reef area. Maui Vista is walking distance to local super markets, stores/shops, restaurants, gorgeous beaches and The Cove, Kihei’s best surf beach. The Maui Vista has three swimming pools, six championship tennis courts and three outdoor BBQ areas. The grounds are lush and well maintained with ample free on site parking.
Just five minutes away is Wailea, a high end resort area. It offers a beautiful shopping village, restaurants, beaches and world class golf courses. Our unit is located on the third floor of the first building. There is a partial ocean/mountain view from the lanai. The unit is set back from the street which allows more privacy and less noise.

This place is not fancy, but it's squeaky clean and very pleasant with plenty of light. It even came with a cooler, boogie boards, and snorkeling gears! We also made a lot of use of the kitchen, which was fairly complete. But the absolute best thing about this place is that it is literally across the street from the Charles Young beach -- one of the most amazing beaches in Maui! The only downside is that the walls are a little thin, and from the bedroom, you could hear people talking and walking down the hallway. But if you sleep during normal hours, you won't notice it at all. By the way, living in Kihei is extremely convenient -- centrally located to everything, with a lot of restaurants, super markets, and tons of awesome beaches. If you are planning to check out Haleakala or Hana at all, I would definitely stay here instead of Lahaina.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a great stay in this condo. It's nicely decorated, very clean, quiet, reasonably priced and conveniently located. The pool and tennis courts were well maintained and not too crowded. Have stayed at many places in both Maui and Oahu and this was a wonderful discovery. We highly recommend this unit at the Maui Vista.
