TAKE A LOOK!! Our second unit ( the Cedar cabin I call Jenny's Little Cabin) is ready. If our calendar shows full, please contact us since the second one may still be available. Many of our former guests have been eagerly waiting for this. I have added two pictures to show the inside living room and the outside view from the covered porch. Both the cedar cabin and the original cottage ( which we have named "Amber's Cozy Cottage", have the same amenities and sleeping accomodations.

Get ready for hiking, rock climbing, swimming, boating, fishing, golfing, bicycle riding, tennis, hang gliding, antique hunting, wine tasting, museums, and Subiaco Academy which are all nearby. We are much more reasonable than the Mt. Magazine cabins or the Petit Jean Mountain cabins and have less restrictions.

**** And, We now accept payment by PAYPAL. Call for details ****

Circle-C-Cottage is a luxury cabin nestled at the base of Mount Magazine, the highest point between the Rockies and the Alleghenies. With two units now, both cabins are private and isolated from each other and both have a gorgeous view of Mount Magazine from the fully furnished deck and the covered porch. The houses also are fully furnished with a hide-a-bed couch in the living room, a rocker for her, and a recliner for him (recliner is only in "Amber's" cottage). Outside on the deck, a fantastic night sky will greet you with stars so stupendous on clear cloudless nights it will literally take your breath away. And August is especially great with visible meteor showers. Grab a quilt and a pillow and spend half of the night outside.

You can nap in the hammocks during the day underneath the trees, or roam in the woods, fish in two on site ponds or build a fire in the rock garden in the woods and enjoy a good old fashioned cook out with hot dogs, marshmallows, and more. Plenty of wood provided. You just have to gather it. We have three large well stocked ponds to fish in and you can even use our poles if you forget your own. If you get tired of being outside we have supplied the cottages with many, many games, books, and many videos for you to enjoy.

Nearby is great hiking and swimming and magnificent Mount Magazine, one of the jewels in the crown of the Arkansas Parks System. You will experience fantastic photo ops, hang gliding, hiking, and a visitor center at the summit. On the way up, stop at pristine Cove Lake for a great swim. Enjoy also award winning dining nearby, wineries, and museums, float the Mulberry just 40 miles north, and travel an easy drive north to Eureka Springs, South to Hot Springs, or East to Little Rock. At Jack Creek and Knoppers Ford recreation areas you may even catch a glimpse of a shy black bear as you swim, picnic, hike, and enjoy the bluffs. Deer and coyote, owls and other wildlife are regular visitors at the cottage. And the whippoorwills will serenade you to sleep in the spring and summer months. Enjoy butterflies and herb hunting as your knowledge of nature grows. Fix a cup of sassafras tea from the many sassafras trees on the grounds.

Charming little cottage in the country

My girlfriend, my two dogs, and I enjoyed our stay here at Mt Magazine during our road trip to Arkansas. Great view of the mountain, spacious yet cozy cabin, wide open fields, only slight issue was limited hot water for shower. Overall I would recommend and stay again.

I stayed here for 4 months on a job assignment and this place was awesome. Ed and Barbara are the most wonderful people you will ever meet. They pay special attention to detail and try to accomodate your stay with them in every way. I can assure you the cottages are well stocked with anything you may forget to bring with you.I will highly reccomend them if you want to visit this area, check them out.

Wonderful relaxing time

Guest: Cindy (Fayetteville)
Date of Stay: 11/04/11 Review Submitted: 11/08/11

This was our second stay at Jenny's little cabin. It is a very comfortable cabin with privacy in a lovely setting. The views of Mt magazine are amazing. The kitchen has pretty much all you need to prepare meals. The bed is comfortable, there are nice touches everywhere and Barb and Ed are wonderful hosts. We really enjoyed relaxing, taking day drives to Mt Magazine, the wineries and prairies to loom for sparrows. Hard to really capture just how nice of an experience it is to stay here.

Cozy, Pleasant, Comfortable Escape

Guest: Lyman and Rachel (Baton Rouge, LA)
Date of Stay: 10/10/11 Review Submitted: 10/16/11

Dear Ed and Barbara, Thanks so much for providing a lovely week's escape. You thought of everything to make us at home, including homemade bread waiting on our arrival. What a treat after a long day's drive! You have the cottage set up so comfortably that we were able to totally relax and slept like babies every nite. The 3 kittens helped us slow down, sitting with us on the glider to look at the mountain every afternoon. It is a terrific location, we were able to visit Mt. Magazine, Fort Smith, Benton, and Little Rock. Thanks so much, hope to return another time, Lyman and Rachel:)

Wonderful

Thank you Ed and Barbara for a wonderful getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back when the weather is cooler to enjoy the fall colors. We felt at home the entire time. Our only complaint is that Barbara did not make bread for us each day. We could have easily eaten a loaf a day. It was so delicious! Thank you again for a relaxing respite from our busy schedules.

The Barrons from Mauriceville, Texas.

Guest: none (Mauriceville, Texas)
Date of Stay: 07/22/11 Review Submitted: 07/25/11

Barb greeted us with fresh homemade bread and she offered cold sodas to the kids- a very nice treat after a long day of driving. We loved sitting on the porch looking at the fantastic view of Mt. Magazine. We also enjoyed looking at the deer - some came right up to the cabin, coyotes, rabbits, and a variety of birds. Barb and Ed had a packet of local attractions to do in the area, including resturants and stores. The cabin was very clean with a fully equipped kitchen. The kids were also excited to see cable TV. There were also games for family fun. It's about a 30 minute ride to the activites on Mt Magazine, the kids esp. liked Cove Lake. They were able to canoe and kayak, as well as swim and picnic.

Peaceful Hideaway

Guest: The Mick's (Kansas City)
Date of Stay: 04/22/11 Review Submitted: 04/25/11

My husband, two young sons, and I enjoyed staying at the Jenny Little cabin over Easter weekend. There was absolutely everything I needed on hand and it was evident that Ed and Barbara enjoy being in this line of business; they were two of the friendliest people you could hope to meet! My sons enjoyed the cool, peaceful, mornings on the porch with us and the mountain hiking as well. Our only regret is that we didn't have time to sit around the wonderful fire pit out back.

Amber's Cozy Cottage

Guest: Allyson (Rose, Oklahoma)
Date of Stay: 01/03/11 Review Submitted: 01/08/11

My husband & I, along with our dog, stayed at Amber's Cozy Cottage in early January 2011. Everything was as promised---beautiful views, peaceful surroundings, fishing, etc. The cottage's interior made us feel right at home & had all of the amenities we needed(& more!)...plus the bed was extremely comfortable! Combine that with wonderful hosts, that were a pleasure to meet! We felt lucky to have found this little gem & after viewing the "Jenny Lind Cabin", before we left, we know that we will be back to add it to our list of enjoyable "get-away" memories! Jennie's Little Cabin is perfect!!!!

Guest: Dave, Kelly, Tyson & Maya (Bixby, OK)
Date of Stay: 10/18/10 Review Submitted: 10/23/10

Ed & Barbara, we want to thank you again for your hospitality and sharing your perfect cabin with us. Dave & I had a wonderful time while staying in Jennie's Little Cabin. Tyson & Maya enjoyed the stay also! I think they needed a vacation as bad as we did. Even though it rained Tuesday, I enjoyed sitting on the front porch & listening to the rain on the tin roof. The view of Mt. Magazine was spectacular! Anyone visiting from the city will enjoy this cabin. Anyone visiting from the country, like us, will feel right at home and enjoy it as well. We will definately return & will recommend this place to others. You guys are the best!
