We are two friends who take an annual pilgrimage from Texas to Oklahoma. We loved staying at Jenny's Little Cabin this past week. We were greeted by Ed and Barbara who immediately felt like family. Barbara baked us some wonderful bread and offered to help us with anything we might need. Nothing was missing from the cabin that we could possibly have wanted. Very homey and comfortable, clean, and full of country charm. We loved fishing in the pond and sitting on the porch in the mornings enjoying the birds. I highly recommend this place for anyone who needs a quiet restful break from city life and fast schedules. The price is very reasonable, too.

Ed and Barbra are two of the nicest people you would ever meet. They have made both of their cottages so homey and comfortable you just want to stay as long as possible. It is so quiet and comfortable there. You wont find a better view of the stars anywhere else in the world. Also there are so many things to do in the area you could spend a life time and never see or do all of them.

My husband and I (and our dog) stayed in Jenny's cabin over a weekend and absolutely loved it! Ed and Barbara were so sweet and hospitable, they truly make you feel at home. The cabin is clean, comfortable, and has all the amenities you could imagine needing. The covered porch is wonderful, with an amazing view of mt magazine and fields of clover. We really loved sitting in the porch swing to watch the sunset and listen to the sounds of the evening. We went to Mt Magazine for a hike and photo-ops, and stopped at The Grapevine for lunch in Paris- it was delicious and perfect after being on the trails, they even let our dog sit by us out on their patio. It was so nice to return to the cottage to relax. Thanks to Ed and Barbara for a memorable getaway weekend!

Our family of 4 stayed in Jenny's cabin for several days. From the time we got there until we left, we felt at home. The fresh baked bread was delicious and just seeing the difference in the nighttime sky from the city was worth the trip. The host pointed out Venus, Jupiter, and Mars one night and went on a sassafrass search with the girls (we will let you know how the tea tastes). We used the cabin as a base to go crystal mining in Mt. Ida, to the Mystic Caverns near Harrison, and to Ft. Smith. We did a lot of driving and were so relaxed to be back at the cabin each evening. Building a fire and having s'mores the last night was the perfect finale. We look forward to an opportunity to come back sometime. Thanks!

My girlfriend, my two dogs, and I enjoyed our stay here at Mt Magazine during our road trip to Arkansas. Great view of the mountain, spacious yet cozy cabin, wide open fields, only slight issue was limited hot water for shower. Overall I would recommend and stay again.

This was our second stay at Jenny's little cabin. It is a very comfortable cabin with privacy in a lovely setting. The views of Mt magazine are amazing. The kitchen has pretty much all you need to prepare meals. The bed is comfortable, there are nice touches everywhere and Barb and Ed are wonderful hosts. We really enjoyed relaxing, taking day drives to Mt Magazine, the wineries and prairies to loom for sparrows. Hard to really capture just how nice of an experience it is to stay here.

Dear Ed and Barbara, Thanks so much for providing a lovely week's escape. You thought of everything to make us at home, including homemade bread waiting on our arrival. What a treat after a long day's drive! You have the cottage set up so comfortably that we were able to totally relax and slept like babies every nite. The 3 kittens helped us slow down, sitting with us on the glider to look at the mountain every afternoon. It is a terrific location, we were able to visit Mt. Magazine, Fort Smith, Benton, and Little Rock. Thanks so much, hope to return another time, Lyman and Rachel:)

Barb greeted us with fresh homemade bread and she offered cold sodas to the kids- a very nice treat after a long day of driving. We loved sitting on the porch looking at the fantastic view of Mt. Magazine. We also enjoyed looking at the deer - some came right up to the cabin, coyotes, rabbits, and a variety of birds. Barb and Ed had a packet of local attractions to do in the area, including resturants and stores. The cabin was very clean with a fully equipped kitchen. The kids were also excited to see cable TV. There were also games for family fun. It's about a 30 minute ride to the activites on Mt Magazine, the kids esp. liked Cove Lake. They were able to canoe and kayak, as well as swim and picnic.

Thank you Ed and Barbara for a wonderful getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back when the weather is cooler to enjoy the fall colors. We felt at home the entire time. Our only complaint is that Barbara did not make bread for us each day. We could have easily eaten a loaf a day. It was so delicious! Thank you again for a relaxing respite from our busy schedules.

My husband, two young sons, and I enjoyed staying at the Jenny Little cabin over Easter weekend. There was absolutely everything I needed on hand and it was evident that Ed and Barbara enjoy being in this line of business; they were two of the friendliest people you could hope to meet! My sons enjoyed the cool, peaceful, mornings on the porch with us and the mountain hiking as well. Our only regret is that we didn't have time to sit around the wonderful fire pit out back.

My husband & I, along with our dog, stayed at Amber's Cozy Cottage in early January 2011. Everything was as promised---beautiful views, peaceful surroundings, fishing, etc. The cottage's interior made us feel right at home & had all of the amenities we needed(& more!)...plus the bed was extremely comfortable! Combine that with wonderful hosts, that were a pleasure to meet! We felt lucky to have found this little gem & after viewing the "Jenny Lind Cabin", before we left, we know that we will be back to add it to our list of enjoyable "get-away" memories! Ed & Barbara, we want to thank you again for your hospitality and sharing your perfect cabin with us. Dave & I had a wonderful time while staying in Jennie's Little Cabin. Tyson & Maya enjoyed the stay also! I think they needed a vacation as bad as we did. Even though it rained Tuesday, I enjoyed sitting on the front porch & listening to the rain on the tin roof. The view of Mt. Magazine was spectacular! Anyone visiting from the city will enjoy this cabin. Anyone visiting from the country, like us, will feel right at home and enjoy it as well. We will definately return & will recommend this place to others. You guys are the best!

Ed was extremely helpful and courteous and the spacious cabin and the location was perfect for what I was looking for at a very reasonable price. Quiet place with all the amenities as advertised. It's about a 30 minute drive to Mt. Magazine Lodge and off a maintained dirt road, so not necessarily for everyone, but if you prefer to stay away from the lights/city/tourists to enjoy the beautiful Mt. Magazine area then I highly recommend this as a temporary home.

Ed, thank you again for rescuing us when our van broke down atop the mountain. You were very gracious with your time, as we know you have plenty of other things to do. Barb, I hope you are recovering quickly. Sorry we could not have visited with you more. Perfect weather, great accomodations, friendly hosts - couldn't have asked for more!

The most fully supplied cottage we have ever stayed in. If you forgot something, Ed & Barb had already stocked the place with it. We used the location as a base for several trips 4 wheeling around Mt Magazine. It was just a short hop away. So quiet and peaceful and what a view of the night sky. We brought along our 2 small terriers and they had a ball. Like staying with family but much more private. The little town of Paris has a everything you might need. We'll be back. We were so pleased you had an opening for a quick weekend getaway 8-13 to 8-16. We stayed at Little Jennie's and were very pleased with how comfortable and well set up the cabin was. It was very hot but we enjoyed the stars outside at night and walking the property identifying the varieties of dragonflies and grasshoppers, looking at the mountain and relaxing in the airconditioning and watching the hummingbirds fight over the feeder during the afternoon. We really appreciated being able to travel with our 21 year old cat and she was very at home. Ed and Barbara were very friendly. We will definitely be back!

They offered information on nearby attractions, which we took advantage of. What beautiful scenery this area has to offer. I would have loved to stay for longer. Sitting outside on the front porch of Jenny's cabin was so peaceful and we had a perfect view of Mount Magazine. One of the best features was that I could bring my dog. He enjoyed being on vacation too. This was a most rejuvenating trip. Thanks for all the special attention that you put into caring for your guests.

We stayed at Amber's Cottage. From cleanliness to fine decor to gorgeous views, you cannot expect better place to have a vacation. The owners will treat you like a family from the get go, the time you are about to arrive to finding the place to having a peaceful stay. Beautiful views of mountains and greenery from the deck. I was surprised that not one insect touched me while I was sitting on the porch. Very very well maintained. If you want to get away and stay a really calm and quiet place with lots of fun, this is the place.

My 15 year old son and I had a thoroughly enjoyable time in "Jenny's" cabin over a long weekend (we ended up deciding to stay an extra day) here in July (16th-19th). You definitely feel like you're away from it all and yet there's so much to do and see in the area. Everybody was so nice and helpful. Ed made it great from the moment we reserved the place to the moment we left. We really appreciate his thoughtfulness. Cooler weather would have been great but the central air at the cabin made it very comfortable and going to Lake Cedar or Mount Magazine made you forget it as well. Even with the heat my son still wanted to make a fire each night and cook our evening meal so the fire pit out back was really nice. The cabin was well stocked with detail items that made cooking inside or outside a breeze. All-in-all a great little vacation. Can't wait to go back sometime. Our family had a great time at Jenny's Little Cabin. We enjoyed our Magazine Mountain view and the wild life that we saw in the mornings and evenings. It is centrally located and so we got to visit two different mountains, Fort Smith, Lake Cove and other small town and museums in the area. There was so much to do if you like the outdoors and history. We also enjoyed fishing on the pond and the peace and quiet. Our dogs enjoyed being leash free and running in the fields. What a relaxing vacation!

Ed and Barbara, We loved the privacy of the cottage. The mornings on the porch were wonderful - listening to the birds, enjoying the breeze, and watching for wildlife. And for about one-third the price of the cabins in the State Park, we considered our private cottage to be quite a value. The 15-minute drive into town made eating and shopping easy, and you made it convenient to see what activities we could enjoy within a reasonable distance. Thanks for making our time so relaxing and enjoyable!

My husand and I stayed in Jenny's little Cabin May 20-22 and we are very much looking forward to a return trip in the fall. The cabin is well equipped with everything a city girl needs (hairdryer, iron, good water pressure in the shower ;)). The hammock out back is great for relaxing and the breezes that come across the fields lull you to an afternoon nap. Unfortunately, we did not have an oppurtunity to try out the fire pit in the back of the cabin, but we will definately have that oppurtunity in the fall. All in all, a great little getaway. Thanks so much Barbara and Ed!

Dear Ed and Barb, As returning customers to your cottage over the past 4 years, we feel as if we have made some very good friends with both of you and Charlie!! We love staying at your cottage overlooking Mt. Magazine and would never even consider staying with someone else. You couldn't ask for a more private beautiful place to stay in the area. It is so peaceful there and the surroundings are breathtaking. We want to thank you for always making us feel so welcome, and the cottage is always so homey and inviting. You always think of even the smallest of details and it is much appreciated. Visiting the surrounding mountains, Mt. Nebo, Mt. Magazine and Petit Jean, as well as shopping in the surrounding towns, Booneville, Paris and even as far away as Van Buren, made for a vacation we will never forget with memories lasting us a lifetime. We would recommend your cottages anytime, to anyone and we will return as often as we can. One day, we hope to get an RV and do alot of traveling, but we still hope to return to your cottage to relive the memories we have made there through the years and to visit you Ed and Barb. And we can't forget about Charlie, what an awesome dog he is. For whomever reads this comment, if you are looking for a private retreat, and a beautiful place to stay, amazing people as your hosts, you have found it in Circle C Cottage. You will feel like you've found your second home.

Hi, Ed and Barbara. Hope you are having a wonderful Easter! Matt and I went to church this morning and enjoyed the service. Tom is out hiding Easter eggs at this very moment. We are waiting for our daughter Lindsey to get off work at 3:00 to come out for our big annual Easter egg hunt. Wanted to say God Bless You and Thank You so much for finding something we didn't even realize we had lost. What Tom thought he had misplaced was his music iPod, which we found in the van once we unpacked at home. We had no idea we had left something behind for our laptop computer. Tom was absolutely amazed to find that in the envelope you sent us. Thank you so much for the extra work you did for us. We are very, very grateful. If it was Barbara, who found it, please tell her we are forever grateful! We had an absolutely wonderful time at the cabin and are having a hard time getting back in the mode of everyday life. We all wish we were back in our little slice of heaven near Magazine! We were so blessed to have had the opportunity to share this beauty - thank you so much. We have brought home memories we will never forget. Take care and please keep in touch. We brought home many memories and a new friendship. If you are ever in the Branson or Springfield area, please give us a call. Thanks again for all you did for us to make our vacation wonderful! -Tom, Susan, and Matthew Frizzell

One thing you should note -- there was not a sign at Turkey Ridge Road coming from Magazine. Perhaps you might post some directions on your website. It was a great place to relax, hike, bike and swim and there were plenty of maps and directions to wherever you would like to go. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back another time.
