The FarmHouse is an inviting place for a weekend of study on Leadership while activating our Creative Energy. Thanks to Jo for birthing the LACE project and to Nancy/John for providing an excellent location to relax, unwind and be inspired by nature, art, and great cooking on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The FarmHouse also offers a sacred spot for doing T'ai Chi Chih! I recommend the LACE seminars and the FarmHouse for anyone looking for a creative retreat.

I wanted to thank you for being such a great hostess. Your Farmhouse is wonderful. Friday night I had the best night’s sleep I have had in six years. You and John strike a perfect balance of engaged hosts. The Kayak’s and the evening bay trips were wonderful. It is easy to see why you are successful as a B-N-B- owner.

The Farmhouse is a perfect setting for both a family gathering and a business retreat. My family and I stayed for the Christmas Holidays in this lovely house. Beautifully decorated and comfortable, filled with antiques and a character of its own...we found it perfect for a variety of in-house activities as well as hikes, wading and feeding the chickens. The business retreat was successful because we needed comfort, restful surroundings, lovely bedrooms to catch up on sleep and we cooked our own meals...great bonding in an extraordinary kitchen...top of the line.

During the spring of 2007 I was fortunate to spend three perfect days at The Farm House with five other women, some of whom I had not seen for over forty years. We were treated by the owners to a life of luxury and relaxation. The Farm House is set on a beautiful site and is decorated with distinction and comfort in mind. I was able to purchase a handmade quilt that was exactly what I needed for my home. I highly recommend this lovely home for your home away from home! ENJOY!

The Farmhouse, situated on a quiet lane in Dames Quarter MD, gives new meaning to Maryland as "the land of pleasant living". It is truly a gem and place for rest, relaxation and rejuvenation. We spent a weekend there with 4 other couples in late January. There was space for everyone to have privacy, cook together comfortably and gather in the great room by a roaring fire. Bedrooms and baths were well appointed and tastefully decorated. Our only regret was it was too cold to enjoy the massive screened in porch and watch the ducks and geese on the pond. We consider it a treat to spend a weekend at The Farmhouse and plan to make this an annual sojourn.

This is one of the most beautiful establishments I've ever stayed in. The setting is peaceful and bucolic. The decor is exquisite--antiques, porches, homey touches like quilts, and lovely landscape with a pond. Upkeep is tiptop. Close to Tangier Sound, country walks, and birds galore. Truly restful, quiet, casual, and comfortable.

The Farm House in Dames Quarter was suggested to us as a place to stay while our house was being built in nearby Chance. We stayed there many times and always felt like it was a home away from home. The owner made us feel like one of the family and always had "our room" ready and waiting for us. The tranquil setting made the hassel of house building much easier.

The Farm House is paradise close to home. It's peaceful and feels like a page out of time. The atmosphere is conducive to work and yet I felt as if I'd been on vacation. I don't cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge often and when I do, it's to spend time in Dames Quarter. The proprietors are friendly and a delight to do business with. I highly recommend this retreat house.
