Thanks very much again for the great experience. I particularly enjoyed the fact that everything in the condo WORKED -- fridge, dishwasher, TV, heat, hot water, hot tub, etc. -- all of them did what they were supposed to do. I may just have bad luck, but I've had a number of vacation rentals where recreation time was wasted trying to get basic services repaired after we arrived. So, the thoughtful upkeep and concern for detail are much appreciated. And of course, we had great weather, with a little taste of everything from warm sunny skiing to a complete powder white out. Very exciting for all of us. I dropped into Liberty Bowl on Friday morning with snow up to my knees and almost zero visibility, and it was pretty exhilarating! I was also very impressed by the Hungry Moose Market. We basically did all our shopping there, and the quality of meat and veggies was outstanding, the people were kind and helpful, and the wine selection was remarkable....

Hard to find a decent condo during ski season for a $1,000 or less. This condo is and it has all the amenities a family needs. The condo is newly remodeled and has a nice layout. The kids loved the bunk bed and had the option of a full size bed too. The hot tub felt great after a day on the slopes. The owners are very nice and accommodating. The village is cute and it is only a 10 minute drive up to the slopes or you can jump on the shuttle just outside your door. We would definitely stay there again when we return to Big Sky.

We can't say enough about the personal touches we received from Big Sky Vacation Rentals - the whole experience from start to finish was one of the best we have ever had. Kirsten and Michael were both wonderful to work with - Michael met us in person when we arrived at the condo and answered any questions we had. Both were always available if we needed anything, and had great suggestions regarding activities and restaurants in the area. The condo was spacious, clean, and one of the best appointed we have ever stayed in! The hot tub on the deck was an extra bonus, and was great after a long day of skiing. The locations was super convenient - very short (and easy) drive to both Big Sky and Moonlight Basin, and there were ample restaurants very close by. We will definitely be back to Big Sky, and will definitely rent from Big Sky Vacation Rentals again! As a side note - we would highly recommend doing the snowmobile tour of Yellowstone with Top Two Snowmobile - the tour was a once in a lifetime experience, and is something that should not be missed!

I cannot say enough good things about this condo! The owners and their management team do an excellent job taking care of their condo and their guests! Our family stayed in December for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed hanging out at the condo and playing the Wii after a day on the slopes! Could not believe the incredible price on this condo in BIG SKY! Loved it and sure you will too! Highly recommend!

Excellent property to stay at with a great price in September. The master bedroom area was wonderful. We went with another couple who were not comfortable in the other bedroom due to the size of the bed. They would have hoped for a bigger bed and no bunk bed in the room. It's good as it is for kids, but not for a couple. Also the bathroom next to the smaller bedroom was not good. The shower head did not work well, despite an attempt at adjustment. The flow of water could not be properly regulated. Also the screen door to the patio did not slide well.....our friend actually used some household cleaning products to try to get it to slide easier. Our friends feel the bathroom shower should be replaced, the second bedroom should be more couples oriented and the sliding door to the patio should work better. The only other suggestion is about the TV.....or no TV in the second bedroom. Would it not be easy to add a TV there? Also, we wondered why the best TV was in the master bedroom and a smaller TV was in the living room? Should it not be the reverse? This all being said cannot take away from the fact the condo was beautiful, affordable and spacious with a fabulous master bedroom and bathroom. Also, the amenities were excellent like the hot tub ready to go, the games available for kids (even though we did not use the WI), the reading materials and the games that were available. Overall an outstanding condo to stay in with a great owner, especially for the couple lucky enough to get the master bedroom.
Owner response:Thanks Kevin for your comments as we continually strive to improve our guest service and appreciate your patronage. As advertised there is a queen bed and set of bunks in the second bedroom vs. a king bed because we often have families and/or singles who would like their own beds. Therefore we responded to that feedback and chose to use a queen bed and bunks with a high quality pillow-top mattress. I am sorry you had difficulty with the shower head in the full bath. We rely on our guests to email or call us when they have a maintenance issue and we certainly would have responded immediately to correct the situation. Same with the need to oil the sliding door. Easy enough to fix! Again, thank you for your comments and hope to see you again in the future. Best, Kirsten

The condo is nicely equipped with plenty of cookware, dishes, flatware, towels, and even hair dryers. It is clean and well maintained. Wi-fi speed is good, even faster than some hotels in big cities. It is very closed to the town center where there are restaurants and market. We stayed here for attending a conference at Huntley Lodge up at the mountain village. Since we have a rental car, driving there (about 6 miles) is not a problem. Our colleagues who stayed at the resort couldn't believe what an incredible deal we got for this place.

We would highly recommend this rental property. It was spotless, well-maintained and was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We've stayed in many rental properties all over the states and found this one to be above the grade for value. We stayed in the fall and enjoyed the quiet peacefulness of the off season. It was the last week of the farmers market. It was a great event and the people of Big Sky were so welcoming and fun to visit. The Blue Moon Bakery was a favorite, especially the pizza. The location at Big Sky is central for day trips to Bozeman,Yellowstone, Ennis and Virginia City. A must for an easy hike is Ousel Falls...beautiful. The property management was prompt and easy to work with. We hope to return.

This property was MORE than I had ever anticipated! It was spacious, very clean, well-maintained, and had SO many amenities! The description was spot on. Kirsten was incredibly easy to work with. She was quick to respond to questions and provide information and her directions took us right to the door. When we arrived her husband met us within 15 minutes and gave us a tour of the property, going so far as to explain local attractions and suggestions for sight-seeing. When I contacted them with a question DURING our stay, Kirsten was quick to respond. Best of all, the very day we arrived home from our vacation, our deposit refund was already waiting in the mailbox. My kids would tell you, "That place was AWESOME!" If we ever travel west again, we won't hesitate to book here. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a home away from home. Great people, great location, great accomodations!

We visited Big Sky for the first time in August 2011 with my parents. We had never stayed in a condo .. always hotels room. We had a Wonderful time. It is just like the pictures. It was convenient to West Yellowstone where we saw a summer stock play. And Kirsten was kind enough to tell us about Albertson's in Bozeman, Mt to do our grocery shopping before we came to the condo. We hope to be coming back in the winter to do some skiing and we would definitely recommend this property to EVERYONE !!!!

Wonderful condo! Our family (my husband and I and our two children) found this condo very spacious, clean, and loved the decor. It is in a wonderful location, and very convenient to Yellowstone, Bozeman, and other outings. We loved the proximity to the Town Center, where there was entertainment nearly every night of our stay. The condo is very well thought out and decorated. We were provided with lots of information and ideas for fun things to do on our stay. Thank you!

I honestly did not believe the reviews nor could I believe the price. To say the condo and service exceeded our expectations is an under-statement. This place is fantastic. Mike and Kristen have thought of every single possible detail. The condo is roomy, comfortable, impeccably decorated, and marvelously clean. And the most shocking was the prince - 99 for two BD & 2 BA. The condo was our "home base" for visiting Yellowstone, Tetons, Lewis & Clark Caverns, and the forest. If we can help it, we are coming back next summer!

Our family was in Big Sky, MT for a summer conference and chose to stay at this condo. As the pictures show, this is a lovely place, very roomy, clean, comfortable and hasall the amenities to make for a great visit. It is very convenient for walking/hiking along the Ousel Falls trail where I did my morning run . We also hiked up the hill behind the condo complex with an outstanding view of the town center and surroundings. One day after my run I took advantage of the jacuzzi and it was soooo relaxing !! Definitely recommend this condo - a great value for the $$ !

Our stay in July 2011 was very enjoyable. The condo is clean, modern and well furnished/stocked. The management was great to work with although we never got a face to face meeting. The hot tub is a nice addition especially after hiking (don't miss a hike to Ousel Falls just down the street from the condo), touring Yellowstone, zip lining, and white water rafting. It is truly a home away from home and we would stay here again. We would definitely recommend it to others. The Wii, Wifi, and brochures/literature on area attractions and restaurants were all a nice extra touch. There are so many little extras like books, DVD movies (I wish we had found these before the last day), kitchen staples, etc. that make this rental special. I can't think of anything that was missing. Can't wait to visit again!

This condo was an awesome place to stay. The accommodations were extremely comfortable and clean. The location was perfect for trips to Yellowstone and to enjoy fly fishing on the many rivers that are close to the property. The notebooks in the condo are full of information about the area which we found very helpful. I only wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to return again to visit this beautiful area.

My 3 nights in this beautifully kept condo was perfect to say the least. Very clean and spacious. The kitchen fully equipped and spotless. After being on the road for 8 nights when I got there I really appreciated the washer-dryer! The wi-fi was flawless. the bed very comfortable. And last but not least the village of Big Sky and all of its restaurants and cafe's are all one needs for a happy long or short stay. Thank you Kirsten for your hospitality its greatly apprciated! I will definately stay here again! PS- $100.00 a night? you gotta be kidding me, a Holiday Inn express cost more lol
Owner response:Don, Glad you loved the place. That is what we like to hear! No free breakfast, but sure better than a boring Holiday Inn Express! LOL back to you. Hope to see you again. Kirsten

My husband and I stayed in this wonderful 2 bedroom condo for a week to ski Big Sky and it is an amazing place. First and foremost the owner in honest, kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. She really wants you to have a great experience and enjoy your stay. She will go the extra mile for you! The unit is clean and well appointed with everything you would need. It is well stocked! The kitchen is the focal point of the unit and is a great place to hang out, talk, watch TV, surf the web, listen to music, have fun with the wii video game system or cook a great meal. Also there in tons of closets and storage units for your gear so you can organized and get all of your stuff out of the way. Very well thought out place... Just a great place all around and the value is unmatched! Oh and the hot tube is a great addition as well for the soar muscles and joints after a great day of skiing. We look forward to coming back to this place the next time we are in Big Sky!

This was our first visit to Big Sky and what a destination it was!!! We had a great time enjoying the mountain as well as the Mountain and Meadow village areas. Although the condo is in the City Center it really is not inconvenient getting to the mountain, the drive is only a mere 7 miles and there is a bus system that works well too. This condo had it all and it was perfect for our family of 4 (myself, my husband and our two young sons - ages 4 1/2 and almost 2). We felt right at home with all the amenities, there was an amazing amount of storage for all our winter gear and anything else we could think of. We could easily spread out and never felt cramped at all. It's nicely decorated and outfitted with everything you could need on vacation. The kitchen was amply stocked with any dish you might need (although a note to families with young children - they do not have "kid-friendly" dishes as in unbreakable (we would bring some Tupperware in the future for our little ones). The hot tub worked great! We never had need to use the fireplace - it was 42-47 degrees everyday while we visited in February!!! Kirstin was great offering anything she could think of and was so accommodating to our needs. This place is immaculate, everything was in top-notch condition. We are super clean people and felt very comfortable. We actually never felt a need to eat out while visiting, we just made special dinners in the condo; thus we have no reviews of restaurants. The local grocery store - The Hungry Moose - although expensive (to be expected in a resort town) had a great selection for being a small grocery store. But we would recommend stopping in Belgrade or some other town on the way - we ran out of time as we had to arrive in time for a conference. All in all, we are already talking about returning to Big Sky next winter and hope that we might have the opportunity to rent with Big Sky Vacation Rentals again!!! Awesome, just awesome!!!

We loved the condo and hope to stay again for our next Big Sky Trip. The hot tub on the balcony was just what we needed at the end of a long day on the slopes. Very close to all the restaurants and Resort. The condo was just perfect, down to every last detail... I appreciate the small things that many rental properties sometimes do not include. Such as- extra paper towels, trashbags, hand soap at every sink, extra rolls of TP... These may seem silly but it's so nice not to have to worry about bringing or purchasing things that you would expect to be there. Loved the double vanity in the Master Bath. The decor was contemporary and cozy. The whole process from booking down to check out was a breeze. Kris and Kirsten went above and beyond to make sure that we had all the info we needed to make our stay wonderful!!!

Not only was the condo clean and comfortable, it had everything, and I mean everything you could possibly need for a wonderful vacation, i.e., all kinds of kitchen stuff, games, books, wi-fi, Wii, stereo, TV's, etc. The hot tub at night, with nary a cloud in the sky, showcased an incredible starry night. The location of the condo, a short drive from the ski resort, and less than an hour to either Bozeman/Virginia City and/or Yellowstone, all of which offered incredible scenery, was a real plus. The rest of my group was from Pennsylvania and we all agreed that we would come back again. Without hesitation, this place was an A+

This 2B.R. condo is a marvelous property. The listing undersold the condo's features. the Wi-Fi functioned fabulously. The furnnishings and condo finishes were excellent and quite atypical for many Western condos - clean and contmporary lines, bright and welcoming color scheme, very pretty views from the large hot tub on the deck, a very well stocked kitchen allowing meal prep with alomost the same ease as your own kitchen at home. The acces to Meadow Village (Town Center) restaurants (Choppers, Allgoods, and a Thai restaurant are particularly good), and services (Hungry Moose grocery and The Cave liquor and wine shop) is easy and enjoyable. the condo is about a block and one-half from the Ousel Falls hiking trail which is a gorgeous little (approx. 2-3 mile) hike along a mountain stream that was most enjoyable and not too demanding on a beautiful and warm July mountain day. if you are after animal heads on log or rough-hewn lumber walls, this won't be your place. But if you want a great contemporary condo, well stocked, with all the ameniteis at an unbeatable price you won't do better. Thanks, Kirsten we had a great 4-days.

A very comfortable place to call home while away. There is so much to do nearby. Highly recommend the Ousel Falls (which you can walk to from the condo) and Lava Lake hiking trails. Many great restaurants nearby, especially Choppers - within walking distance on a warm summer night if you are ambitious. Bonus points for the elk cruising through while we were in the hot tub! Loved the condo, great view of the mountains from the hot tub on the deck. We were even priviledged to see a beautiful rainbow. Good location, close to shops in the meadows (ate at Wrap Shack and Blue Moon Backery) and close to the ski hill (loved riding the ski lift and hiking down to the resort). Ample space and kitchen supplies for our 4 adults and 2 kids. Steps away from hiking trails (enjoyed a 2 mile round trip to Ousel Falls from the condo) Kristen was a gracious and helpful host. Helpful hints and brochures for activities on kitchen counter were a fabulous addition. Condo very clean & photos accurate

Hello Kirsten, I just wanted to send a quick note to you letting you know how much we enjoyed your condo. I have stayed in many condos and while most of those were nice like yours, none of the owners payed as much attention to the details as you have. The appliances were quality appliances; the dishwasher actually cleaned the dishes, the oven (which was well-used during our stay) is a high-quality oven and the laundry room was nice. The dishes were durable and the pots and pans were actually in good shape. Sleeping 6 in that condo was more than comfortable and the ample amount of storage, hooks and seating made it even more comfortable. We will, without a doubt, be returning. Thank you for your hospitality. Shawn and Brianna

We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children (17 & 13) and found that this condo was an excellent home away from home for our Christmas skiing vacation. We found that this condo was just as described and very well maintained and clean. I am somewhat of a clean freak and found that the cleanliness of the condo was excellent. Kirsten and Mike were always avaialbe to answer any questions and made sure everything was smooth and as expected. They are very gracious hosts. We spent our days skiing and our nights in the hot tub, playing Wii or watching movies. We would highly recommend this condo, as it is an excellent value. We hope to book again as soon as the school calendar is releases.

We stayed for three nights and loved every minute of it. The condo is beautifully appointed, was immaculately clean and very welcoming. Big Sky is a breathtaking place to visit with wonderful views and numerous things to do all within close proximity. we would highly recommend this place to everyone

We had a wonderful time in Big Sky. The comfort and accomodations this condo offers made the short getaway seem like an unlimate vacation. We have traveled to many resorts and timeshares and this was truley like a home away. The kitchen was well stocked with many of the same items in my home. Truley a homeaway

We stayed at the condo for 10 days and had just a wonderful time. The place was exactly as stated..plus more!! We had another couple join us and separate rooms and private bathrooms were great. The location was breathtaking and also very near to shops and walking/biking paths. After a day of hiking, biking, and tennis the hot tub was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend this as a top-notch place to stay during your summer/winter vacation.

We stayed here in July 2009 and had a wonderful time. The condo is super clean, it has every amenity you could ever need, and is in a great location (about 45 minute drive north of West Yellowstone). This condo is absolutely the best value of any property in Big Sky and we highly recommend it.

This condo has it all: super comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen and the master bath is great. The unit was clean and everything was as advertised. We'll be back!
