Our home, Mountain Memories is a three-story home with a bedroom and bath on each floor.

It is located in Big Canoe, an 8000-acre mountain resort community with three lakes, 15 miles of hiking trails, a Joe Lee designed 27-hole golf course, indoor and outdoor tennis, a complete state-of-the-art fitness center with Olympic-sized indoor pool, racquetball, workout facilities, and a complete day spa.

Next to the fitness center is the Big Canoe Swim Club with an outdoor pool and a lake with beach for swimming, paddle boating, and volleyball. Your kids will love the rock slide that drops into the lake! If you are up for a drive you can visit beautiful Amicacola Falls or you can take a trip up to Dahlonega and visit The Chestatee Wildlife Preserve.

The home has a beautiful great room with a real wood burning fireplace and kitchen as well as a bedroom with twin beds and a full bath and a half on the main floor. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a queen-size bed with a sitting area and a nice private bath that has a separate shower and Jacuzzi tub.

Downstairs is the third bedroom which also has a queen-size bed with a sitting area and a full bath. This room has a separate entrance and offers extra privacy.

Off the main floor you will find a wrap around deck with a screen porch. You are surrounded by over an acre of beautiful trees and wildlife. Enjoy your morning sitting on the porch watching the deer return to their homes and having a snack in the back yard.

After breakfast take a hike on a beautiful wooded trail which winds along a creek just down the road from our home.

The house is completely stocked with linens and towels and most essentials. All that is missing is you!
