As when renting any vacation property, we depend solely on the pictures provided, the description given, and previous visitor's reviews. This property is EXACTLY as described and if you read any of the reviews, they all stated that the pictures do not do this property justice and that is also TRUE! The condo seems much larger because of the open floor plan. The access to the lake couldn't be any better! Everything that you could possibly need (other than groceries and your personal toiletries, clothing) is provided. The location is great also. The housekeeping staff (or whoever cleans) does an amazing job! We couldn't have felt more at home than we did in this condo. I guess everyone feels the same way when leaving a vacation but, we truly wished we could've stay longer! Thank you so much for opening your condo to us and allowing us to enjoy a wonderful spring break vacation!

This condo is oh SO comfortable :) The rooms are more spacious than they appear in pictures. We had everything we needed for a great stay in Hot Springs. We really appreciated the helpful binder with restaurant recommendations - we went to 4 of the restaurants and loved them all. One caution: we contemplated bringing our ski-boat but didn't. Then noticed the boat slip area seemed like it might have been too shallow for boats other than pontoons (?) Anyway - we would definitely stay here again if we came back to this area. Owner response: Thank you so much for your great comments! I felt compelled to respond to this review to address the boat dock. It may look rather shallow but we own a 24' bow rider ski boat and park in in our boat slip without a problem. The depth around our docks is 4-6 feet deep and we trim up our motor as we pull in to dock and many of our guests have done the same with their ski boats and pontoons.

My wife and I absolutely loved this rental. It was very spacious and open. The kitchen was enormous and everythin was very convenient, clean, and modern. The living room and the bedroom both had doors that opened to the porch on the back, which also was rather large and about 5 ft. From the water. This place was coand amazing! We will definitely be looking this condo up again when we come to Hot Springs!

The perfect home away from home

We loved this condo! So roomy, beautifully furnished and very clean. Covered parking for two cars and it has a boat slip (wish we would have brought ours). The lake is shallow along the shore and perfect for swimming. Our kids enjoyed the fire pit at night. My husband loved cooking on the gas grill on the deck. We stayed a week and the condo was just the right distance between all of our activities: Magic Springs theme park, downtown Hot Springs, Mid America Science Museum, Garvan Gardens, horseback riding in Degray State Park, Pirate's Cove golf and is close to Wal Mart, shopping mall and restaurants, etc. So much better than staying at a hotel - would highly recommend!

Everything about this property was excellent! Easy access, check in/out procedures very simple, and very helpful local info waiting on the counter when entered. Spacious open floor plan and very comfortable accommodations. Close to the main road but still felt very private. Will not book anywhere else as soon as we can return again! Reasonably priced too.

5 Friends of over 35 years stayed here, and had the best time. The view out the deck/patio is so serene and beautiful. The condo was great and accomodating in every way. The owners were very comprehensive in the booking and instructions, which made for a pleasant stay. Would definitly stay at this condo again, and hope to next year! We have stayed at several condos in the Lake Hamilton area and vote this the best value overall we have encountered. Jim Vogel

Very clean, beautiful, roomy. Water rental close by land and water. Magic Springs close by. Lake is only a few steps off back porch. Sooo relaxing.

My family met with old friends and stayed here for 4 nights. There were 10 of us total (4 adults & 6 children), and we all had a wonderful time!!! The condo comfortably accomodated all of us. We spent most evenings on the deck looking over the lake. The dock is perfect. We kept a boat there and enjoyed the easy access to the water! We will try to meet here again!!!

We vacationed at this condo with another family and it was a dream vacation! The pictures do not do justice to how nice the condo actually is. The kitchen is simply amazing! We had 10 people between kids and adults and we had tons of room. The fact that the lake is literally 20 steps away was awesome. The water was super clear for lake water and great for swimming. There is lots of fun things to do in Hot Springs but the condo was so nice we didn't leave very often! I would HIGHLY suggest this condo for you next lake vacation!

Lake Hamilton condo

We thought this condo was one of the nicest we have rented on Lake Hamilton. The high ceilings, extra large deck, large master suite, covered parking for two cars, ground level entry with no steps, and wonderful 7 south location make us want to go back! This unit has everything including washer/dryer, ice maker, and beautiful views of the lake. The lake is only steps away and several neighbors were catching a lot of fish this morning as we enjoyed coffee on the deck! Owners are gracious and the condo is well appointed and very clean. We plan to stay there again and will recommend it to our friends.

Thanks so much for sharing your home. I agree the pictures don’t do justice to this unit. This is a really big comfortable unit with a gorgeous master bath that’s not pictured. The Layton’s provided very generous “away from home” supplies. I watched the most beautiful sunrises while in Hot Springs from the double sized deck. The view was peaceful and relaxing. There’s plenty of comfortable seating on the deck to enjoy the lake. Thanks Mark and Stephanie for a wonderful stay. I hope we have the opportunity to come back to Hot Springs. If we do, we definitely will stay with you again.

My family extremely enjoyed our stay! The owner was super easy to deal with and very helpful in providing tourist info and coupons. The pictures do not do this condo justice!! Everything was so spacious and clean! I would recommend this condo to anyone. This was a great place for small children, the water directly in front of the dock was very shallow.

This is my first experience with homeaway and I am very pleased to say it was a great one. This condo is in a spectacular location (especially if you have a boat). The living area is huge, the desk area is nice, and the internet was a plus. The kitchen was very well equipped, and I really liked that the Laytons even put an ipod docking stereo in. The patio is nice, equipped with plenty of seating, and a grill if you wish to use it, not to mention the awesome view where you are footsteps away from the water. My only complaint is that dogs are not allowed or considered, I know my boy would have loved it, but hey you can't always get what you want. I would definately come back.

I was just thrilled with this condo. My husband and 3 sons stayed 3 nights and were so comfortable there. I would definitely recommend it to any travelers. What a Great Condo!

We just got back to Colorado after a wonderful four night stay at this condo. We had six people and the 2 couples took the bedrooms and the other 2 guys in our group slept on the pull-out couch bed and the surprisingly comfy aerobed provided. We were a little worried there would not be enough room but the condo ended up being huge and we had a blast. We were right on the lake and rented a boat and spent lots of time grilling on the huge deck!

We recently stayed three nights in this condo. It was super clean and very well designed and decorated. Granite countertops, trash compactor, plenty of nice towels and kitchen supplies plus the deck was wonderful! Everything was as promised. I heartly can recommend renting this condo, we plan to return!

We spent time in Hot Springs with another couple in February shopping, eating downtown, enjoying the sights of bathhouse row and the Arlington Hotel, going to a nightclub and the next day at the races. This condo is very conveniently located to restaurants and all the fun stuff in Hot Springs, and has a great view of the water from the living room and master bedroom. The living room furniture provdes plenty of seating and was very comfortable. The two bathrooms were very nice and clean. The kitchen is open to the living room providing a great atmosphere for you and your guests. The kitchen had everything we needed, was fully stocked. The outdoor deck is spacious and RIGHT on the water! There is a boardwalk you can access from the private deck to walk along the waters edge. Two parking spaces right by the door were very convienent. Owner was very easy to work with and helpful.

These photos don't even do the property justice. After a 3 night stay I can't think of one thing that I wasn't happy with. The condo was extremely spacious and very clean with an amazing view and ideal location. By far one of the nicest lake rentals I have stayed in. I am already planning my next visit!

This condo was absolutely perfect for our family weekend trip. I have 2 married daughters and 1 grandchild. The condo is extremely nice and very well laid out with a great view and awesome deck, where we spent a lot of time. This condo is packed with all the great amenities such as beautiful kitchen, side by side refrigerator, granite counter tops, thick carpet, nice tile, jacuzzi tub, huge grill, plenty of patio furniture, right on the water and for such a great price. We enjoyed our 10-day stay in this condo very much. We were delighted to find that it was even nicer in reality than the photos that had originally attracted us. The appliances, linens, furnishings were very nice and the included supplies were generous. The owner was very easy to work with and on top of every need. Just wish the weather and fishing success would have equalled our luxurious accomodations and wonderful location.

I really enjoyed 3 night stay at the condo. The condo commanded gorgeous view on the Lake Hamilton, adjacent directly to the deck alongside the lake. In addition, the condo was luxury itself, furnished with quality furniture and fixture including kitchen utensils along with exclusive outdoor BBQ grill. I wish I stayed more nights there and I definitely would stay next time.
