This is a beautiful twin townhome located in the Laurelwoods Community at The Villages on Big Boulder Lake. You are within minutes of Big Boulder Ski Area and Jack Frost Mountain for snow sports during the winter. During the summer sit back and relax on the private wooden deck and take in the beautiful wooded scenery or relax in the full-size hot tub and gaze up at the stars through the sky lights located in the ceiling of the hot tub room. This home features a spacious living room with a wood burning fireplace, a formal dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen along with a family room/den.
On the main level of this home you will find the comfortable living room, dining room, kitchen and hot tub room. The private deck is accessible from the hot tub room off the dining room. The master bedroom is on this level and has a queen-size bed. Also a spacious full master bathroom which features a Jacuzzi tub and stall shower.
Downstairs on the ground level is a family room/den where there are games to play. Also a full-size washer and dryer.
Upstairs are the remaining two bedrooms and the loft area. One bedroom has a queen-size bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds. The loft area also has bedding for two with two twin beds. There is a full bathroom on this level.
During the winter months snow sports are available at Big Boulder Ski Area which is on site and also at Jack Frost Mountain which is a short drive away. One lift ticket gets you access to both! Snow tubing is also available.
Spring, summer and fall offer a variety of activities. There is always plenty to do. Staying in this home will give you access to the Lake Mountain Club facilities, which is a short distance away. These facilities consist of outdoor heated pools, Big Boulder Lake which has a beach area for swimming, boat rentals and fishing available (with PA fishing license), tennis courts, basketball court and volley ball. There are many golf courses in the area including the newly opened Jack Frost National only seven miles away.
Hickory Run State Park is 10-15 minutes away. There you can enjoy hiking on many marked trails, have a picnic in the pavilion area or take a dip in the lake. The Crossings outlet stores are a short 25 minutes away if shopping is what you prefer. Paintball and whitewater rafting are also available nearby. Or you can always just come up to sit back and relax. So pull up a chair and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Pocono Mountains.
