This is a true luxury home in Old Town, Park City. We just completing a major rebuild/addition that converted this beautiful home that was originally built in about 1898 to a new home with every convenience needed to make this your home away from home while you ski the greatest snow on earth.
The Main Floor has a wonderful Kitchen/Dining/Living area that will help you easily entertain groups of up to 15. The floors on the main level are a beautiful dark walnut stained maple hardwood. All the rooms have ample lighting and generous windows.
There is a two-sided fireplace between the dining and living areas. The warm living room has a very large L-shaped couch for chatting and watching the large 43" flatscreen TV (with a fantastic sounding 5.1 theater system). The IPOD/CD-based whole-home audio system is also located in this room, so bring your favorite music with you.
You will love the top quality, large kitchen: Thermador gas oven/range with griddle, a separate Thermador electric convection oven, drawer-style microwave, large fridge/freezer, granite counters, small appliances, and more. Just bring the food, because everything else is ready for you to prepare your favorite meals. It also contains eating areas, a desk near the French doors that lead out to the heated patio. There is also an adjacent laundry area, and a half-bath.
Upstairs we have 3 master bedrooms. The first has a queen bed, LCD tv, beautiful bathroom with TV, clean air bubble tub, separate shower, and two sinks. The second master has a king bed, vaulted ceilings, LCD TV, bath with special shower with multiple body spray heads. The third master has a queen bed, full bath and a balcony. We also have a foldout single sofa bed in that room.
There are also a couple of bedrooms downstairs. One has a queen bed and a full bath and the other is our bunk room with a full bath right outside. The bunk room has 2 sets of bunk beds (one with a queen bed on the bottom). Downstairs also has a fun gameroom complete with an air hockey table that flips over into a small pool table. Your family and friends will enjoy the fireplace, wetbar, and a game table with built-in seating. If you want to watch the big game or movies, this is the place. There is a 43" flatscreen TV above the fireplace and on the other side of the room is a 57" TV with a 5.1 theater system. The leather couch has reclining chairs as well as a foldout queen bed. Downstairs is a fun area for kids and adults!
There is a grill and hot tub out back on the heated patio. The driveway is also heated and so you won't need to worry about difficulty parking in the driveway or getting in the garage. There is room for 1 car in the garage, 1 in the covered parking right in front of the garage and room for another couple cars in the driveway.
This is a top-quality home that won the Park City Preservation Award in 2009, and it is yours to enjoy at a very reasonable rate. We live just a few minutes away, so we will meet you and make sure you are satisfied with all the workings in the house. We will help make your stay enjoyable.
And did you know that Deer Valley and The Canyons ski resorts are just minutes away from this lively little historic town with galleries, boutiques, and many restaurants. You will love being in the heart of winter activities at their best and the "Greatest Snow on Earth." Park City is the place!

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
When you drive to this home you feel as if you are driving right into the heart of Park City. It is just a couple blocks from the Town Lift and the Main Street area. The home is very close to the free bus system that goes to the other resorts, but it is one street over so you don't get all the noise from the buses traveling up Park Avenue. Those who have tried walking down the steep streets to get to Main will recognize the benefit of walking into town or to the lift from this home. It only takes about 4 minutes to walk to Main Street or the Town Lift. Good parking at the home too!
The Unique Benefits at this House
Being able to walk to Main Street during the winter months is a benefit many overlook. They may think that driving there is easy, but it is so much easier to be able to walk into town and not fight the parking. Also, having the option of taking the free bus or walking to Main or the ski run is a nice benefit. This house is new and beautiful and the floor plan makes it easy to gather together as a group or separate out -- it is over 3,800 square feet! Clean, new, with tons of new electronics/TVs etc. Your family and friends happy you chose this home!
This access can be used to get off or on the ski run. It is just a 4 minute walk from the home. That's about how long it takes to walk in from the ski parking lot.
Town Lift and Main Street area. Main Street starts at 9th Street and goes up the street from there.

I moved this house from under the Down Town Lift back in 1987, but just finished a complete rebuild and addition within the last year.
