This is a true luxury home in Old Town, Park City. We just completing a major rebuild/addition that converted this beautiful home that was originally built in about 1898 to a new home with every convenience needed to make this your home away from home while you ski the greatest snow on earth.
The Main Floor has a wonderful Kitchen/Dining/Living area that will help you easily entertain groups of up to 15. The floors on the main level are a beautiful dark walnut stained maple hardwood. All the rooms have ample lighting and generous windows.
There is a two-sided fireplace between the dining and living areas. The warm living room has a very large L-shaped couch for chatting and watching the large 43' flatscreen TV (with a fantastic sounding 5.1 theater system). The IPOD/CD-based whole-home audio system is also located in this room, so bring your favorite music with you.
You will love the top quality, large kitchen: Thermador gas oven/range with griddle, a separate Thermador electric convection oven, drawer-style microwave, large fridge/freezer, granite counters, small appliances, and more. Just bring the food, because everything else is ready for you to prepare your favorite meals. It also contains eating areas, a desk near the French doors that lead out to the heated patio. There is also an adjacent laundry area, and a half-bath.
Upstairs we have 3 master bedrooms. The first has a king bed, LCD tv, beautiful bathroom with TV, clean air bubble tub, separate shower, and two sinks. The second master has a king bed, vaulted ceilings, LCD TV, bath with special shower with multiple body spray heads. The third master also has a king bed, full bath and a balcony. We also have a foldout single sofa bed in that room.
There are also a couple of bedrooms downstairs. One has a queen bed and a full bath and the other is our bunk room with a full bath right outside. The bunk room has 2 sets of bunk beds (one with a queen bed on the bottom). Downstairs also has a fun gameroom complete with an air hockey table that flips over into a small pool table. Your family and friends will enjoy the fireplace, wetbar, and a game table with built-in seating. If you want to watch the big game or movies, this is the place. There is a 43' flatscreen TV above the fireplace and on the other side of the room is a 57' TV with a 5.1 theater system. The leather couch has reclining chairs as well as a foldout queen bed. Downstairs is a fun area for kids and adults!
There is a grill and hot tub out back on the heated patio. The driveway is also heated and so you won't need to worry about difficulty parking in the driveway or getting in the garage. There is room for 1 car in the garage, 1 in the covered parking right in front of the garage and room for another couple cars in the driveway.
This is a top-quality home that won the Park City Preservation Award in 2009, and it is yours to enjoy at a very reasonable rate. We live just a few minutes away, so we will meet you and make sure you are satisfied with all the workings in the house. We will help make your stay enjoyable.

Gorgeous house, great location, very close to Main Street, Town Lift and bus routes. We had a group of 10 people, had ample room. Game room was great, hot tub awesome, wonderful open kitchen/dining/living room area. Dan was super helpful, and readily available to answer any questions. I'd recommend this house to anyone!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We took our first trip to Park City this year with my extended family and all our kids (8 adults, 5 young children). We were so lucky to have chosen this house. Incredible house and amazing location. The house has 5 bedrooms and everyone fit easily. Great family room and kitchen. But the location makes it even better. Very easy walk to the town lift - everyday we walked to the town lift and back to ski - did ski school with the little ones and driving them to Park City resort was just as easy, took 2 minutes. Even better, not a bad walk to the downtown - twice during our trip we walked to our restaurants on the main street - with 2 and 4 year olds. Only bad part was the 5 degree cold! All in all, wonderful house, Dan is a great landlord, and great locationRecommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I booked this great place for Myself and seven other over 50 ,over reaching, over confident mountain biking friends for a week a we had a great time. Plenty of room for all of us... the Photos don't do the place justice.... The rooms are BIG and all the extra amenities you need... great location too. This place is perfect for a large group as everyone can be together and have their space too.... Great Basement for Kids/teenagers...... The owner is very helpful and accommodating. We will be back to beat ourselves up and recover at this comfortable place. We stayed an entire week in this property with my 2 children as well as 2 other facilities with 2 children each and literally could not have asked for a better vacation. The home’s amenities, style, location and personal touches truly made us feel comfortable and at home. Dan was so gracious and supportive in providing tutorials on the house wide entertainment system, the hot tub and grill as well as one of the most appointed kitchens you can imagine. In the end the truest testament I can give is that all families plan to stay in this home next year and even asked to reserve it 12 months in advance.Did you find this review helpful? Great winter experience. Well appointed luxury home with all amenities. We arrived late evening in what was possibly the worst weather of the season (est. 20 inches of snow in Utah in just a few hours), and Dan welcomed us to his property by shoveling the driveway (twice) and a clean, warm house. Perfect greeting after a long trip. I’ve stayed in other VRBO properties, and I think Dan makes a difference with a personal touch. The home is walking distance to the ski lifts and historic old-town Park city. Great floor plan large families or friends. A friend of mine visited from Salt-Lake who has worked in Park City/Deer Valley for 20+ years and said he’d stay here. We would definitely stay here again.Did you find this review helpful? About the owner: I moved this house from under the Down Town Lift back in 1987, but just finished a complete rebuild and addition a couple years ago. My wife LeeAnn and I have been doing rentals in Park City for about 15 years. We have 3 very active kids and we love living in Park City. Let me know how we can help plan your next ski vacation.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
When you drive to this home you feel as if you are driving right into the heart of Park City. It is just a couple blocks from the Town Lift and the Main Street area. The home is very close to the free bus system that goes to the other resorts, but it is one street over so you don't get all the noise from the buses traveling up Park Avenue. Those who have tried walking down the steep streets to get to Main will recognize the benefit of walking into town or to the lift from this home. It only takes about 4 minutes to walk to Main Street or the Town Lift. Good parking at the home too!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Being able to walk to Main Street during the winter months is a benefit many overlook. They may think that driving there is easy, but it is so much easier to be able to walk into town and not fight the parking. Also, having the option of taking the free bus or walking to Main or the ski run is a nice benefit. This house is new and beautiful and the floor plan makes it easy to gather together as a group or separate out -- it is over 3,800 square feet! Clean, new, with tons of new electronics/TVs etc. Your family and friends happy you chose this home!
