Sea Change looks West over one of the most beautiful areas of the world.
Sunrise colours the snow covered mountain ranges pink, sunsets glow golden across the islands and moon reflections shine on the water of the Straight of Georgia.
The house has been completely renovated, but with consideration to it's architectural style. It was stripped down to it's 1960's 4-split-level bones, then professionally redesigned to bring it into the present. Hardwood flooring throughout, travertine marble bathrooms, vaulted ceilings, wall to wall glass and etched glass doors transformed it. The space is now open, bright and comfortable.
The view is stunning in any weather; cloudless sky stretches from horizon to horizon; mist and rain sweep past from the North; the sun's rays pierce through disappearing clouds to the South;
At different times of year you can watch Bald Eagles circle, be chased then land on a tree top; Canada Geese fly close overhead on their migrations North and South; and a pair of Tree Ducks repeatedly attempt to land in our neighbour's dead tree, sometimes succeeding.
I you're visiting for the 2010 Winter Olympics, Sea Change is located in the middle of all the sporting venues. It is located 1 hour South of Whistler Mountain, 1 hour North of Richmond's skating arena, and 30 minutes away from the Athlete's Village in Vancouver. Best of all, if you're a snowboarding fan, there's the Cypress Mountain venue, it's entrance only 3 Exits along the freeway - a 10 minute drive from the house.

- Lanai: An outdoor casual dining area is accessed from the kitchen. It is glass covered, enclosed on 3 sides and heated and opens onto a sun-filled deck.
