Sea Change looks West over one of the most beautiful areas of the world.
Sunrise colours the snow covered mountain ranges pink, sunsets glow golden across the islands and moon reflections shine on the water of the Straight of Georgia.
The house has been completely renovated, but with consideration to it's architectural style. It was stripped down to it's 1960's 4-split-level bones, then professionally redesigned to bring it into the present. Hardwood flooring throughout, travertine marble bathrooms, vaulted ceilings, wall to wall glass and etched glass doors transformed it. The space is now open, bright and comfortable.
The view is stunning in any weather; cloudless sky stretches from horizon to horizon; mist and rain sweep past from the North; the sun's rays pierce through disappearing clouds to the South;
At different times of year you can watch Bald Eagles circle, Canada Geese fly close overhead on their migrations and a pair of Tree Ducks repeatedly attempt to land in our neighbour's dead tree, sometimes succeeding.
Everything is easily accessible from here. Beautiful beaches in pristine swimming bays, soaring mountains, lakes, forests, parks and city life.

- Balcony : 2 cedar decks span the length of the West facing side of the house, overlooking the ocean. They are accessed from the Living Room, Dining Room and Family Room. Cushioned chairs and loungers allow utter relaxation. The Master Bedroom has it's own private West facing deck.
- Lanai : An outdoor casual dining area is accessed from the kitchen. It is glass covered, enclosed on 3 sides and opens onto a sun-filled patio.

The Unique Benefits of this House
I love the peace I feel when I drive West, from the city, past Passage Island, and up to this house. It has the feel of an island but is so close to the city.
The house has a quiet that is refreshing and a nourishing quality of light.
It is a lovely place to be.
