Catch the Wave has all the comforts of home. This 2,600 square foot, 4 bedroom, 4 bath home built in 2006 is located in the heart of Seagrove. This home is like new and very finely furnished. The beach is only a four to five minute walk away. The community pool is only a one minute walk away. The front open porch has an abundant amount of furniture and runs the length of the home. The second floor screened-in balcony, also with furniture, runs the length of the home.
As you enter Catch the Wave you will see a very nice and comfortable living area dressed in hues of blue and green. There is a flat screen TV, DVD/VCR, and queen sofa sleeper. Next to the living room is the dining area with a table and seating for six, and there is another breakfast area with a table and seating for four. There is also a breakfast bar with seating for four. The kitchen is very fully equipped with a side by side refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and toaster. The first floor bedroom has two twin trundle beds with flat screen cable TV and hall bath with tub/shower combo. A Bosch washer/dryer and ice maker are also on the first level. The back door accesses the BBQ area complete with table with seating for six and a charcoal grill. An enclosed outdoor shower is also in the backyard.
The second floor has a desk/work area at the top of landing with wireless high speed internet access and phone. The master bedroom is on the second floor and has a king size bed with flat screen TV, DVD, VCR player, and private bath with double vanity and walk-in shower. The second floor guest bedroom also has a king size bed and has a flat screen TV, DVD, VCR player, and private bath. Both king bedrooms have access to the second floor screened-in balcony.
The third floor tower room has a living area with flat screen TV, DVD, VCR Player, microwave, and under counter refrigerator. A full bath with shower adjoins the tower room. The 4th guest bedroom with double bed is also on the third level and adjoins the living area. Guests can see a distant view of the Gulf while sitting in their high-back Adirondack chairs on the balcony!
Catch the Wave is usually rented Saturday to Saturday during spring break and summer. Shorter stays will be considered closer to an arrival date. 4-Night minimum stays are usually required over the Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years holidays.
Catch the Wave is a very beautiful home at an excellent rate and is perfect for a family vacation to the Beaches of South Walton! Walk to Bruno's pizza one block east of the home in Seagrove or bike to Seaside Resort which is only 1 mile to the west. You'll love Catch the Wave!!

If you wanted to spread everyone out more into their own space, the 3rd floor TV/sitting room room could be used as a 5th bedroom because the sofa is a sleeper. The maximum occupancy of the home is still 10. A baby in a crib is fine beyond the maximum occupancy.

We stayed the week of July 16th - July 23rd, 2011 for a family reunion. A beautiful house with everything you could possibly need. We liked that it wasn't right on 30A with all the traffic noise. The furnishings and beds were comfortable with plenty of dining space for our group. The separate ice maker kept us from running to the store. Beaches of South Walton Vacations was a pleasure to deal with. Would stay here again.

Well, for the 3rd time we LOVED our vacation. So much room and top notch amenities. The house is so refreshing to walk into after a long day on the beach. We will be back! Again!

This is our second year at this lovely house. Already planning for next year HERE! We are so glad that we did not cancel, very little tar. Made friends with the other houses. If you do come after Labor Day, plan to eat early if going out. This has become our second home. This home housed two families very comfortably. Thanks!

Thanks , Julie. We did Ripley's and a movie at the Rave - we also had a really fun day at Wonderworks - better than we expected. We just wanted to tell you that we had a great time on our vacation - Catch the Wave could not have been better - we LOVED it! Even with Hurricane Alex and the non-existent oil and tar balls we had a fabulous time. SO GLAD we didn't cancel! We went to this vacation house in June and I will have to say it was the best place we have every stayed. There is quiet and privacy, but still have a lot of places close by that you could go too and shop. The house is clean and beautiful and plan to go back next year. We really liked the ice machine that was in the laundry closet, and there was plenty of towels and wash clothes. My whole family loved it.
