  I want to thank you for letting us stay a the house. It's a great house. It was very clean and it got all the amenities. I can tell it that it was newly renovated. I specially loved the gates for the stairs. We got 3 little kids ranging from 1-4yrs and we were so happy those gates were their. It was also great that there were chairs, umbrella, and toys for the beach. We had a blast and really enjoy ourselves.

  My husband and I spent an amazing week at this house with our family! This house has it all. The short walk to the beach is perfect! The "kiddie" pool was probably the biggest hit and not just to our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter! I can't even begin to say how much we loved this place. I read the reveiws before we decided to rent this house and was very pleased to read about the cleanliness but I never fully believed everything that was said. Now I do!!! This was by far the cleanest place we have ever stayed. The owners called to ask how we were doing too! How often does that happen? It's obvious to us they take pride in this home and understand that the house "reflects" upon them as people. Our 29 year old daughter posted pictures of our vacation to Facebook and one caption reads "the best beach house EVER"! I think that says it all!!! We have stayed in some really nice homes from Corolla to Kill Devil Hills to Kitty Hawk and we think we have found "our" place to stay on the Outer Banks! We definitely plan to return to "Jersey Girl"!!! Everyone in our family highly recommends this house!

  My family took our 1st vacation together in many years, with the exception of my son and his wife, who were expecting their baby.All together, we had our 2 daughters, their husbands, and our three grandchildren. We have always loved Rodanthe, but never stayed there. When I found this house thru VRBO, we decided to go for it!!! Our first impression was WOW!!! Jersey Girl is so much better than the pictures show. Everything was so nice and clean, which is very important to me. The house feels more like a home, and everyone had plenty of room to spread out.My favorite places were the top deck for morning coffee, and the pool for relaxing! The owners were so helpful making sure everything was as it should be. Thanks,Bridget!! We hope to be able to stay there again.. Jersey Girl...what our family needed to make memorable family moments!

  First time to the Outer Banks this Summer. This house was great...pool was perfect for little kids (4, 3, and 1 year-old) and the parents and grandparents too. 3 blocks from the beach, with a ice cream store at the other end of the street. House was super clean and everything worked with no problems. Rodanthe is a great town between two protected strips of beach...just not many people around, which makes it a great change from NJ where I call home. Still love LBI, but we'll be back to OBX and I highly recommend this house.

  This has been an amazing place for my family to stay. After trying many places, we have found our home away from home. The kids love it and especially the pool. It's also just a short walk to the beach. It is always spotless and the owners are always helpful. We can't wait to come back year after year. Thank you Jersey Girl.

  Jersey Girl has given our family such wonderful memories.....we can't wait to get back in just a few weeks!!! You can almost hear the ocean just looking at the pictures! This home is absolutely SPOTLESS! In the past, I have packed cleaning supplies to do a once over before we could get settled.... but no need here! Vacation starts when we pull up! It has all the comforts of home..If you want to hang out together and play games at the large dining table or even if you need some time to yourself .....you can do so in several areas of this home. The pool is just a bonus for us!!! You can start the day there or wind down there after a great day at the beach!! We even had a call in the middle of the week just to make sure everything was going great for us. I absoloutely would highly recommend this home for vacation or any time of year!!!!

  Jersey Girl is wonderful in every way! We were down for two weeks last fall and returned for another two this spring. We have historically rented from the realty companies, but those days are over. My wife and I are clean freaks, and had become accustomed to cleaning the house before we even "moved in". Not necessary here - you could eat off the floor! We have two young children, and the home is set up perfectly for them. Built-in baby gates, Wii, awesome pool area, and a quick jot to the beach make it a home that our children literally asked for by name this spring. The owners are fantastic. They are very concerned with the quality and cleanliness of the home and go out of their way to make the stay memorable. I would highly, HIGHLY recommend this home!

  We enjoyed 2 beautiful weeks at the Jersey Girl last June, and we cannot say enough about how amazing this home was for our family. The description and pictures accurately described how truly phenomenal this vacation home is in the town of Rodanthe. The cleanliness of this house was incredible, the amenities were too numerous to count, the proximity to the beach was ideal for our little ones, and the pool was the highlight of our 2 weeks. The owners of this home were wonderful, communication via phone and email were so helpful in answering questions and concerns. They even contacted us during our stay to assure our comfort and satisfaction. We have been traveling to the Outer Banks for 30 years, and I can honestly say we have found our home away from home. After dealing with rental agencies and all of their problems for years, VRBO is the way to go, you get to deal with the owners on a personal basis and found that to be a rewarding experience for our family. We are returning this year for 2 weeks and look forward to another wonderful vacation at the Jersey Girl. I would absolutely recommend this home to family and friends!
