  We needed a place that was quiet, right on the water and had a lot of beds for a bachelor party weekend and this was just the spot for a great weekend. The cove is quiet and great for swimming or hanging out on the decks, but it's only a few minutes by boat to more open water. The photos give you a very accurate idea of the property. John, the owner, was very helpful and easy to work with. Definitely recommend.

  We had a large family gathering on the lake. The house was large enough that we could all have plenty of space without crowding. We had middle schoolers and high schools who thoroughly enjoyed hanging out together because the house was on a quiet cove that made kayaking fun and safe. Our original plan was to go out every night for supper, but we all were so relaxed that no one wanted to do that after the first night! We hope to return again.

  Our 4 generations spent 8 fun filled days at the tree house, The calm waters in the cove were perfect for the kids to play and swim. The first day the pre-schoolers were afraid of the water, but by day 2 they were trying everything. They spent countless hours in the water and were throughly worn out at night (much to the parents delight). The short trip out of the cove to the open water was great for tubing, sking, and wakeboarding. When we mentioned to the owners that there were not many wash rags, they brought new ones that afternoon. Wonderful!

  My family is new to lake house rentals and were a little afraid of what we would get into, but the week we spent in the house surpassed all our expectations. The house was large enough to accomidate our large family and the lake was an amazing. The lower level was nicely updated and the dock was relaxing. the only thing we missid out on was a larger yard but that was the only drawback. the upper levels had plenty of bedrooms and living space. The owners were friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We're already making plans to go back next year. The house easily accomidated every one from the elderly to small children. We liked the fact that kingland was just a few minutes away. The other surrounding towns also offered many activities for every one in the family to enjoy.

  Very spacious house. The rooms kept going and going and going. I planned a bachelor party around this house and was very pleased upon arrival. The house was clean, having two kitchens was convenient, and there is more deck space than you know what to do with. It comfortably slept the 16 of us. We had a lot of fun with the bumper pool table, playing poker, and flying a kite off the top deck. Definitely recommend staying here.

  Thanks for an awesome weekend with family and friends! The house is well-furnished and has plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The cove is beautiful and so peaceful and the two story dock is amazing with plenty of shade and sun for all. Plenty of fish biting, too! This is a great get away for lake-lovers of all ages!

• Wonderful weekend

  As Austinites, a group of us family and friends were wanting a place to escape the city and found this perfect Tree House Hide Away just a short drive out of town. It was a perfect accomadation for our group which ranged in age from 12 to 80 years old and totaled 13 people. The mornings were spectacular sharing our conversations and coffee on the upper deck and I cannot say enough about our quality time spent bringing the evenings to a close while fishing and sharing good eats out on the lower deck, what serenity on this water front cove! This has been such a memorable experience for all of us that we have already reserved our next years adventure.

  We had 22 people in the house in cluding three kids and a toddler, there was enough space for everyone, The two kitchens are great, and it was awsome for the BBQ we had outside. the house has AC unitis, and a bathroom in every floor. The lake was great and the water tempeture was perfect, this is a great house for large groups Thanks for having us in your house.

  My 6 year old son and I share the same birthday. I decided that since he was turning 6 that I would start a tradition. The Cooper 1st annaul boys weekend. With the help of John and his wife we were able to have one ot the best weekends ever. We invited my good friend and his 7 year old son and my 13 year old invited one of his friends. When we arrived at the Treehouse on Lak LBJ we were stunned at what a uniquie house that offered so many rooms and lake front fishing that kept us busy all weekend. The house had 2 kitchen - living rooms that allowed us to enjoy our time with the boys at night playing cards and dominoes. We caught fish off the back covered deck and if we had gove later in the summer we would have been able to swim off the back as well. The treehouse is now our year after year weekend home. Thanks for the great weekend.
