Flamingo Beach is a beautiful two bedroom, one bath, ground floor condominium located within the prestigious gated community of ‘Truman Annex’ in Key West’s ‘Old Town’ area. This home has a large deck area which is accessed by a set of French Doors and comes complete with a wicker table and chairs for comfortable outside living, including afternoon shade, that makes Key West so desirable. This is a great place for morning coffee, a leisurely afternoon visit with friends or a place to wind down the day.

This home has just been completely remolded with all new furniture and also includes TV’s, a radio, CD player, washer/dryer, pots & pans, towels & linens, central air conditioning, and ‘private’ off street parking, pool access. The master bedroom is outfitted with a queen bed with the guest bedroom enjoys two single beds. Extra room for guests is supplied with a comfortable sleeper couch in the living room.

Dining and entertainment is accomplished with a quick, two-block walk to Duval Street or you may choose to enjoy the Key West Sunset Celebration every night at Mallory Square, which is a short 5-block walk. Sun bathing is available either in the Associations private pool or you may visit beautiful Fort Zachary Park beach, only 400 yards away. While this home has a completely furnished kitchen, it is a widely accepted practice in Key West to avoid its use during your stay and dine out

  • My family and I spent a week at Flamingo Beach. We had a very pleasant experience. The Truman Annex is a wonderful location since it is so close to Duval Street, Mallory Square, Fort Zach, and many other popular spots. The condo was decorated nicely and was equipped with everything you might need during your stay. It is close to the pool that is only available to Shipyard residents. We enjoyed sitting on the front and back patios. The condo owner quickly returned emails and provided plenty of information regarding what to expect upon arrival to the condo, such as where it is located, where to find the keys,and where to find the parking spot. Although I have vacationed in Key West several times, I enjoyed trying new restaurants that were suggested by the owner. We will vacation in Key West again and hope to stay at Flamingo Beach in the future.

  • We've stayed in several Truman Annex units, and this one was by far the best- beautifully decorated and well-equipped. We especially enjoyed the outdoor patio which is large and private. The location to the pool is great- just a short walk down a beautiful pathway. The location in Truman Annex is convenient to all that Old Town has to offer. We felt very safe. The owner, who is very pleasant and accommodating, offered great tips on places to go and things to do during our visit. This will be our first choice for our next visit to Key West.
