  We chose this house as a girls week away and LOVED this house! The kitchen is spectacular, as well as all the beautiful windows. We stayed there in the winter, and loved watching snow fall and deer play in the woods. It is close to the beach (though we skipped it b/c of weather). We would stay there again anytime!!!!

  All I can say is WOW. 6 adults and 5 kids and 2 dogs. This was the first time we had done something like this and we all had a great time. The listing for this home is all there and then some. The home is very clean and lots of open space. Everything you need for your vaction is in this home. All of the arrangements where so easy and all questions I had where awsered right away. If you are looking for a summer or even fall home this is one I would highly recommend. We all had fun taking the wooded path to the beach, having a fire in the evening and roasting marshmellow. Couldnt ask for more. My husband even celabrated his birthday while we where there. We went to South Haven one of the days to see the light house and shop in town. Thumbs up on that. The best moment I had while we where there was when my husband said renting this home was well worth every penny. The kids asked if we could do it again next year, I told them they bette start saving there pennies. If we all gained something from this trip it will be the memories we can save and talk about them in the future. I give this home 5 stars. We cant wait to do it again.   Our visit to this wonderful wooded retreat exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived and continued all throughout our stay. This lovely home is so well appointed with everything imaginable. The view from the living room and dining room is pure magical. The spacious floorplan was great for entertaining, especially the kitchen. We shared many great meals with family and friends, loved all of the quaint seating areas throughout the grounds as well as within the home itself. The walk to the beach was a treat with all of the little paths and signage that guided us right to the beach. If you are looking for a quiet place to get away and relax I highly recommend this home anytime of year. We look forward to our next visit and we thank the owners for making it such a enjoyable experience.

  We loved this house. The view to the wooded backyard was outstanding! The house was very clean and nicely furnished. Every thing you can think of that would be needed for your stay was available... down to the space heaters in the lower level bedrooms (if needed). The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need too for your stay. The decor of the house is upscale... we even got some decorating ideas that we will take back for our own house. We have stayed at a number of houses, and this house ranks with some of the best. It is a great place for a getaway... only a few hours from Chicago.

  Had a wonderful, relaxing winter escape at this home. The home is very open and spacious with a fantastic kitchen for those who enjoy cooking. The home was very clean and well maintained. I would definitely enjoy visiting again. Absolutely loved visitng the near by Chocolate Garden and Grandpa's Cider Mill. If you visit during winter months, be mindful of it's snowing or icy inorder to get up the little hill to the house.

  Our family is comprised of ages 2-79 and we all were pleased with the well-maintained house and beautiful furnishings. The house floorplan offered convenient places for each age group to play, read, and talk. The rental rearrangements were professionally handled with timely response and helpful information. The location was perfect to several activities in the southwestern area of Lake Michigan. We enjoyed the golf, beaches, fruit picking and were in awe of the sand dunes in Warren State Park(so fun!) It was a fantastic vacation for us all!

  Everyone was thrilled with the weekend. The house comfortably slept all 10 of us. The great room was huge with plenty of seating. Very clean and spacious rooms and the showers were amazing. It was also accessble to many of the small towns in Michigan where we love to shop. Kitchen was well stocked with all the amenitites that we needed. Would definately come back.
