Nestled in a valley of majestic mountains and steps away from the shores of Cultus Lake, BC, Stone's Throw Cottage offers a refreshing escape for you and your family.

This home was built for families and has the touches that will make you feel at home. It has a floor to ceiling rock fireplace, cozy quilts, heated tile floors and quality woodwork throughout. Child friendly games, toys, books and movies are just some of the items that will welcome your little ones when you arrive. Whether you curl up with a book in front of the fireplace, roast marshmallows in the fire pit on the patio, hike the local trails, swim in the lake or do a round of golf, you will relish the pace of life offered in this unique place.

We are located on Lindell Beach at the end of Cultus Lake. The hiking and biking trails, in a forest privately owned by local residents, help you explore our spectacular surroundings. A baseball diamond and volleyball court is offered for your use in addition to the docks, complete with a diving board and swimming rafts. (Floating docks) A short stroll to the creek will reward you with seasonal glimpses of spawning salmon and scampering wildlife.

Stone's Throw Cottage has generous windows, which offer spectacular views of towering fir trees and seasonal snowcapped mountains. The lower floor common area features an open kitchen/dining and living area floor plan. Our floor to ceiling rock fireplace offers a cozy and relaxing place to enjoy the superb view of the towering mountains.

A short drive away, you will find waterslides, mini golf, public beaches, shopping and local interest.

  • We just spent the May long weekend at Stonesthrow Cottage - talk about a treat! From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were at the perfect place to relax, enjoy fellowship with friends, and catch up on our rest. The entire cottage is perfect - it was amazing to us that every detail was considered in the layout and supplies. We were impressed with the rates as well and hope to make use of Stonesthrow for future get-aways!

  • Wow! Talk about a vacation! Stone's Throw Cottage is like a home away from home! We had a relaxing stay at this beautiful, comfortable cottage. We spent hours at the beach nearby enjoying the water and scenic mountains. We loved to stroll along the "forest" trails and beside the creek. A great place for a family vacation among friendly neighbours! We will be back! Thank you!
