1 bedroom studio condo, but sleeps 6 if you have too! Enjoy fun times in the Schuss Mountain Village and kick back and have a resort shuttle take you throughout the rest of the resort to the other villages (Summit Village and Cedar Village)! The resort has many places to eat, bars, health club, indoor/outdoor pools (outdoor winter pool!). Also, bars, shops and eateries in the two surrounding towns of Bellaire and Mancelona. Mancelona has state land for snow mobile, you are 20-25 miles from Traverse City in one direction and 15-20 miles to Boyne Mountain and AVALANCHE BAY in the other direction. You are just 5 miles from a public boat launch for TORCH LAKE (Alden) and can also drive over to the famous "Sand Bar" for good time summer fun! There is also a public boat launch to LAKE BELLAIRE (which is part of the "Chain of Lakes" Bellaire-Grass River-Clam Lake-Torch Lake) which the lake is situated only 3 miles from the Summit Village and 6 miles from Schuss Village. The condo is also 25 miles to Gaylord and "Call of the Wild" museum and fun park and 40 miles to Grayling! Come play in the center of it all! (Credit Cards Accepted)

My husband and I stayed here for a couple nights just before Christmas (left on the 24th). Had a wonderful time. The listing description and photos were very accurate. The property is very clean and well maintained. I loved the fact that it wasn't full of clutter like a lot of rentals are. Owners were very easy to deal with and responded to e-mails quickly. Short walk to mountain and pool/hot tub area.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

My husband, son (8 yo) and I stayed here for a few days before Christmas. It was clean, quiet, and very comfortable for the 3 of us. The area outside of the back door was the perfect place to play in the snow and build a snowman. Schuss Mountain, which can be seen from the back door, is in walking distance, and Boyne Mountain is a 30 minute drive. We skied both and had a blast!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

We stayed at this resort during the off season (mid-August), which afforded us the serenity of nearly total isolation, except for a few occupants here and there. The exterior and interior accurately depict this listing - nicely decorated, clean, and well maintained with amenities provided, even though we used all our own, except for dishes. This unit is small, but very accommodating - ours was a party of two; most everything modernly dated. The only negative thing would be that the lower bed was a little hard, and made lots of noise when leaving it; nothing a foam bed pad wouldn't correct, if desired. We also utilized Torch Lake for our boating experience, which was approximately 10-20 minutes away; we were not aware of any lakes or boat launches at or immediately visible from this exact locality. The owner, as well as her husband, were very nice, and helpful. We definitely would recommend this property to friends or relatives. Attraction recommendation - none other than TORCH LAKE!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+.
