I personally welcome my guests and make sure they are comfortably settled in and oriented to the local scene! A great vacation starts with a special greeting and I look forward to meeting you at Pugwash Cottage!

I highly recommend this cottage. The house and garden were wonderful. Very comfortable, meticulously maintained, everything shipshape. Located a very pleasant 15 minute stroll to the heart of the historic district.Close enough for a run to the path along the Niagara Parkway. Great location for a visit to Niagara Falls, to tour the local vineyards, or to explore the historical sites of "Upper Canada".
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

The week spent at your cottage was the best week of the summer of 2009. The location was fabulous, so close to everything! The cozy, clean & comfortable cottage was equipped with everything possible to make our stay the best it could be. Definitely worth the price!! The sail to Toronto was the icing on the cake however. We will definitely be back and recommend your cottage to all! Thank you! Jola van der Linden & family

Our most relaxed and enjoyable holiday to date! We have never enjoyed walking so much! The region is absolutely beautiful and Niagara on the Lake is a real gem. We miss our morning strolls down to Queen St and our favourite coffee haunt!!My wife loved the variety and uniqueness of the quaint little stores..no ugly BiG Boxes here! Pugwash Cottage is charming and we felt instantly comfortable. The rear deck was a great place for when we needed a break from being tourists... one afternoon we heard the "clip clop" of hooves on pavement and then saw one of the local horse and carriages plod sedately by. Very laid back !! Port Dalhousie and the Dalhousie Yacht Club where the Taya Two is berthed is a real fun place and we thoroughly enjoyed our cruises on the Taya Two.My wife is not a sailor but never complained at all! She was impressed by the skill and confidence of "Captain Pugwash" and by my own newly taught sailing skills! We loved the picnics aboard and seeing those huge freighters entering and leaving the Welland Canal. We took an overnight side trip up to the Muskoka Lakes and what a trip that was. What a beautiful province Ontario is and we will return! Many thanks to Barry (Captain P )and Paula.
