Our OCEANFRONT condo is only 40 feet from the ocean. We are located in the quaint harbor village of Maalaea just 20 minutes from Lahaina.
During Whale season (Dec - Apr) we have what has long been considered one of the most active locations for whale sightings. You can relax and watch them frolicking with their babies from our oceanfront lanai.
The heated swimming pool and BBQ area are oceanfront so whether you're at the pool or on our lanai you'll be able to take in the breathtaking views of the ocean, Molokini, Kahoolawe Island and the Haleakala Volcanic Crater.
Our air conditioned condo is furnished to comfortably accommodate 2 to 4 people along with all the amenities of home with a full kitchen and a washer and dryer for your added convenience. There is a comfortable queen bed and television in the master bedroom, (2) twin beds in the second bedroom and the second bedroom has its own 1/2 bath. There is cable television and free internet service in our condo. If you don't want to bring your laptop you'll have access to a computer, printer and fax machine in the main office for a small fee. We have quiet fans in the living room and both bedrooms.
Walk out your door and to the left is the longest sandy walking beach (sugar beach) on Maui. Walk a short distance in the other direction to the Maui Ocean Center and you'll find some of the Islands best dining, shopping, and Maui's world class Aquarium. If you're interested in any of the many water sport activities, the Maalaea Yacht Marina is next to the Maui Ocean center with trips to Molokini's beautiful dive site, turtle town, dinner cruises, whale watching and much more.
Join the other guests and owners on Friday mornings for donuts and coffee at the pool. This is a special time where you will meet people from all over the world.

There is nothing like waking up and having your coffee while watching the whales start their day, or enjoying a freshly grilled dinner by the pool or the beach, which are just a few feet away from the unit.
We usually get a rental car. But truth be told, we really do not use it often as the condo is within walking distance to all the things we love to do in Maalea...shop, eat, whale watch, and enjoy the Maui Ocean Center. Since discovering this gem of accomodations, we have referred many family members and friends...inviting them to stay at your seashore condo in Maui. Island Sands unit 106 NO KA Ol (is the best)!!
No smoking allowed in unit or on Lanai - per Association rules.

I have been here twice now. Staying on Maui over the last 10 years, various hotels, other rentals, this place by far, is the best. The unit is 50ft away from the water, and the view is panoramic. The kitchen is totally efficient, BBQ steps away, reserved parking, and is QUIET. It's my home away from home (Oahu).
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
