This house is beautiful both inside and out. It is perfectly situated on a canal with a small dock for your boat, very short walking distance to the beach, pier and shops. You will not be disappointed with this property. We enjoyed our experience every step of the way.

The perfect location for a perfect vacation!

I am so glad I found this property. It was the perfect size for my parents, sisters, daughter and myself. The house is gorgeous! The online photos do not do it justice. Well- equipped, perfectly laid out, clean-ALL the comforts of home. The heated pool was a hit for all of us, but the best part of all was the very short distance to the beach. It beckoned us every day and didn't disappoint! Also it is a short walking distance to Pine Avenue, which has lots of little shops and places to eat. Erin, the property manager, was ever so helpful and always willing to help us out, if needed. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a restful place to stay on the Gulf Coast in Florida.

Excellent 5 star quality! This home was an excellent choice for our group because we needed a home with no stairs to accommodate our parents. What we found was a home of high quality finishes, welcoming decor, open concept and very comfortable beds. The home was very clean and well taken care of. The furnishings were very good quality and very up to date. The pool setting was quite private and yet you could still see the canal out back. The owner was very quick to respond to our request to rent and every other question that I emailed to her. I would love to work with her again. She was very customer oriented and wanted our stay to be comfortable and pleasant. When we arrived there was a little welcome basket including snacks, wine and all the information you could want about Anna Maria Island. Instructions regarding running of the home were very complete. There is a property manager locally to contact if there were any problems or questions. We tripped a breaker once and couldn't find the breaker box so I called the manager. She returned my call immediately and problem was solved. We only stayed for 3 nights/4 days but all 8 of us wished we could have stayed longer. The other guests continually thanked me for finding such great comfortable accommodations and were glad we didn't all end up in separate hotel rooms. We were in Florida to attend a family wedding but did spend two days enjoying the pool, walking the beach, browsing the shops on Pine Street and having breakfast at the Rod & Reel. I would whole heartedly recommend this property and would love to return!

Perfect family retreat

We absolutely loved our stay at C-View. It was everything we had hoped! The home was immaculate & fully stocked with every dish, utensil, cook ware & serving ware we could have hoped to have on hand. We had the perfect amount of space for everyone. The pool was great. The kids lived in in all week. It was an easy walk to the beach - maybe 5 minutes. It was a private setting with a great canal. Hope to return soon!

Wedding Bliss

We stayed at the house to attend our sons wedding on the island. All our kids were with us as well as thier spouses and two grandbabies. The house was just right in size and layout. A well stocked kitchen made meals a snap. The pool was nice and a block from the beach, who could ask for more? I would come back in a heartbeat. It would make a great place for my family to gather on a yearly basis.

Great For A Birthday Party

We really loved our stay. It was perfect for for family and friends attending Mom's 90th birthday party . The large 'Great Room' and large, sturdy table with all of the extra chairs were two of the things that attracted us to C-View in the first place. Everything was as advertised. We would definitely come again.

Our family stayed at C-View recently and had a wonderful stay. We had 3 generations staying, including 2 children and found there was plenty of room for everyone. We appreciated the welcome basket with snacks and some cold drinks in the fridge. The house was tastefully decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed and more (not your typical rental house stocked with mismatched dishes, glasses, etc. - this was nice stuff!). The beds were comfortable, with nice pillows and mattresses in every room. We enjoyed the swimming pool in the afternoons and evenings. The pier out back was nice for fishing and we did take the canoe out one morning for a trip through the canals. The location of the house was about 2 blocks or so from the beach access, which was an easy walk for our group. The house was also within walking distance to the Rod and Reel pier (about 5 minutes) or the City Pier and Pine Street shopping area (about 10 minutes). We enjoy staying in this area of Anna Maria Island. Overall, this place is great! The owner was very responsive to e-mails leading up to our stay and provided a contact number during the stay in the event that any issues came up. We hope to stay here again in the future. Thanks.

Perfect for family of 5 with teenagers

This is our fourth time to Anna Maria and we have found our perfect vacation home! C-View is beautiful, well-stocked and the location is perfect for anything you want to do on the island. We were stunned at how beautiful the home was when we arrived. We were thankful for the welcome basket of food and drinks in the refrigerator. It was such a treat. We didn't know what to do first as the canal looked inviting for fishing and the beaches and piers were so close. Per your suggestion,we had called Beach Bums ahead of time and our kayaks and bikes were there at the house waiting for us when we arrived. Within 20 minutes of our arrival, three of us were on the beach and my two teenage sons were fishing at the Rod and Reel. We biked or walked to dinner and the beaches every day. I think we drove our car only twice the entire week which was when we chartered a fishing trip and went to Skinny's burger place for dinner. Our three children loved the freedom that your home allowed them. They were able to ride bikes everywhere- mostly to the rod and reel pier to fish three or four times a day and the beach to swim. The pool was perfect for the end of every day to relax. Our FAVORITE feature is the outside shower. We loved it. Everything in the home is top notch from the bed linens, towels, TV's,furniture and pool. Since it is March Madness season, we were so happy you had nice big flat screen tvs for us to watch the games. I couldn't believe you had one in every room. We have already reserved the home for next spring break and can't wait to return next spring.

We do like to have duplicates of most things in the kitchen so dads and kids can help moms in the kitchen. When staying in a vacation home, moms need to be able to enjoy the vacation, too. Also, Erin has made sure there are plenty of chairs for the beach and will have spares at the house if they need to be replaced. Thanks for those suggestions. Anna Maria is a little gem nestling on the Gulf Coast, I would like to keep this a secret but feel compelled to tell you about paradise found. C-View is a gorgeous property on the North end of the Island within walking distance to both the City and Rod&Reel piers on the Bay side and the fantastic less crowded beaches on the Gulf side. Also a 10 minute walk to catch the free trolley bus to explore the island, so good your car could stay on the drive all week. The home itself is offers wonderful accommodation both inside and out. All furniture and fixtures are of the highest quality with great added extras such as the iPod docking stations connected to the home cinema system. I must mention the fridge/freezer the best I have ever seen in the 15 years we have been visiting Florida. The outside area is again furnished to the highest quality encompassed by the wonderful canal view where fishing is a must. Just to let you know one family member caught between 30-40 fish during our weeks stay. We also had the amazing experience of having a manatee swimming to within 30 yards of the dock. On arrival the welcome basket was greatly recieved after our 9 hour flight. Our thanks go out to Erin for this and the help and advice where needed, perfect manager, not intrusive but there when needed. Also I could not finish up without mentioning Ann the owner, a joy to deal with, so prompt with responses, a big reason why we will return. The best thing I can say about this home, do you do it in flatpack to transport back to the UK, oh and the weather too!

Lovely

C-View is a lovely house in a perfect location. Two families (for a total of 7 people) stayed here and we found the layout just ideal for two families. Two sets of two bedrooms are clumped together, with a shared bathroom, in addition to a master bedroom. Really, it could work well with two families and an extra couple. We appreciated being on the canal, as fishing is big with us. It's also a very short walk to a gorgeous beach. The linens were sumptuous and there were millions of towels (beach and bath). We loved utilizing the excellently large washer and drier, the fast internet, the grill and the beach wagon (SO important!) The house is stocked nicely and the welcome basked was packed full of delicious treats. The photographs do not do this house justice.

Our Family Thanksgiving Vacation

We enjoyed our vacation week very much. The house was beautifully decorated and very welcoming. It is spacious and our 9 family members were all very comfortable. The separate "wing" with two bedrooms and a bath was perfect for my son, his wife and two babies. The kitchen was well equipped for all our needs,the pool and backyard very enjoyable. We were able to walk to the beach which was another plus. I would recommend this rental to anyone with a large group as it has space for everyone to be comfortable yet also be together. We will definitely be looking to return again in the future. The service was also excellent.

We stayed in this amazing villa for a week in hot and steamy July. Not only was it a well equipped house with great beds (hotel comfort) and top of the line equipment in kitchen and laundry room, the airconditioning worked flawlessly, which was greatly appreciated in the heat. The owner has also done a great job decorating the place to make you feel right at home (and we loved the welcome basket). And when you think it can't get any better, you take a plunge in the awesome pool, deep in one end, and baby friendly in the other. If we lived closer, we would come back every year. PS. The photos of the house are no way near as nice as the house itself.

Beautiful and Private home! Our family loved the spaciousness and cleanliness of this home. It is beautifully decorated and the tropical landscaping around the pool provides so much privacy. C-View is so much prettier than the photos on the website. The home is well equipped with everything you need to have a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The owner was a pleasure to work with and made sure that any requests we had were met. We have already recommended this property to our friends and we most definitely will visit C-View again. Anna Maria Island is a treasure and if you didn't know better, you would think that you were in the Caribbean with the beautiful clear water and sandy white beaches. Anna Maria Island is our favorite vacation site in Florida!

Beautiful, well appointed large home. Pool was perfect; we fished from the dock. A short walk to a great, less populated expanse of beach. The pictures are a very good representation of the property and the property is clearly well maintained. At one point, we had five adults and 3 children (five good sized bedrooms) and we didn't even feel over crowded. I love this island and we loved this home.

three generation friendly and worthy of special celebration

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary on Anna Maria Island and in anticipation of that special event, I spent many hours on the internet searching for the perfect rental for our 8 member, three generation family. We ranged in age from 61 to 3, and had a variety of vacation interests. Among the prerequisites for our lodging were: enough space to relax together, yet enjoy privacy as needed; high-end hotel quality beds; cleanliness; well-equipped kitchen; laundry facilities; heated pool to accommodate the young and not-so young; easy access to the gorgeous beaches; proximity to nice restaurants; amenities such as beach towels and outdoor grill; and a friendly, easy to access owner and staff. C-View matched and exceeded our expectations in every way! In advance of arrival, our questions were answered promptly and courteously. The owner went out of her way to provide island contacts for fishing expeditions, bike rentals, restaurant recommendations, and even beach photography. Upon arrival, we enjoyed a basket of goodies tailored to our ages and tastes. Everything was pristine and modern! When the pool initially seemed to be heated insufficiently, a staff member was called out promptly to remedy the situation. A late departure request by one of our members was handled with understanding. Having never been to Anna Maria before this visit, I was a bit concerned about the "short walking distance to the beaches" described for this property. Our grandsons (age 6 and 3 1/2 at the time) and the rest of the gang easily walked the less than five minute trip on quiet streets. If you haven't had the privilege of enjoying this slice of heaven called Anna Maria, please note that most visitors seeking to avoid traffic and crowds prefer the northern end of the Island. C-View is in that quieter zone, which in my opinion, enhances the vacation experience. I am also amazed that C-View is very competitive, price-wise. Given the amenities packed into the place and the quality/accessibility of management, it is a bargain for larger families who need many bedrooms. I will return to this paradise home whenever I can!!

Absolutely Wonderful!

What can I say! This home was a wonderful home away from home for our family of 8 plus 2 grandchildren. Not wanting to repeat previous comments, but the pictures on the website do not do it justice! The living area is very open and well decorated, but everyone was able to have some quiet time if needed in their lovely bedrooms. The pool is perfect for both children and adults since it has a stepped entry for children and then a deeper end for the adults. We were pleasantly surprised with how well the home was stocked with beach towels, beach chairs, shampoo, lovely dinner ware as well as a large dining table where we could all gather for meals. As promised the lovely white beach was just steps away and we were also able to walk to 2 Scoops for ice cream and to the Sandbar Restaurant for dinner. We also discovered that we could paddle our kayak from the canal in the backyard to the city pier. What a gem of a home on a lovely island. Thank you for sharing it with us!

Your pictures don't do it justice. The house was just perfect for our family. The kitchen was stocked with the best of appliances, pots, dishes, etc. even a grill outside. The little ones really enjoyed the shelf in the pool. It made supervising them so much easier, and not having to lug beach towels, sand toys, even beach chairs was a huge help. The beach was beautiful and we rented kayaks and it was great having the canal right in our backyard. Thanks for a wonderful week of sun and fun.

We loved it! We certainly echo the good things others have said. This is an extremely well-planned and decorated home that easily accommodates children and adults. We were four generations on a mini family reunion. It's easy to be in and feels comfortable. Highly recommend both the house and area. We were sad to leave and still have island fever!

C-view was everything we hoped for and more. What an awesome place and fantastic location. We really appreciated all the work that went into the house and all its amenities. The place was clean and comfortably accomdated 2 families with children. Anna Maria Island was a great destination for us and staying at your place really made the trip wonderful. The kids had a great time on the beach, in the heated pool, and fishing off the dock! We all enjoyed the house, especially the kitchen and the comfortable beds! Thanks for all your help and quick responses to any of our questions. We will definitely be recommending C-View to our friends and family and hope to come back ourselves!

Our family has been to Florida several times, visiting traditional tourist destinations such as Disney World, Universal Studios, and Busch Gardens, along with secondary attractions in those areas. We've stayed in world-class resorts and hotels, condo communities, and with friends. While considering many resorts on the gulf side of Florida, we were strongly encouraged to stay on Anna Maria Island, using VRBO (Vacation Rental By Owner) to find accommodations. Honestly, I had never heard of either. Friends who've lived in Tampa for a few years said "locals" refer to Anna Maria Island as "old Florida" ... free of the blight of over-commercialization, meaning no large high-rise hotels or resorts ... no unsightly, never-ending strips of retail tourist traps, and no lengthy traffic delays. So, for our first vacation in several years, we decided to take a gamble ... and are thrilled that we did! Anna Maria Island is an absolute idyllic jewel of a destination. Thoughtful planning and controlled development seamlessly blend its preserved, quaint architecture of the past with newer styles. There are dozens of outstanding restaurants ... plus, spectacular Holmes Beach, which stretches for miles and affords ample views of stunningly beautiful sunsets. C-View provides an invitingly tranquil setting overlooking a channel on the island's north end, with fine accommodations and amenities. The L-shaped design creates ample space between bedrooms to ensure each guest's privacy, while the large open common area gives you a central area to cook, dine, talk, entertain or move outside to the private pool. Lazing on the patio during the day provided numerous opportunities to view local wildlife, including majestic Blue Herons that landed tamely in the backyard on several occasions. The night-time sky provides a crystal clear view of the heavens unlike any other, while their reflections in the pool and on the open water are purely astounding. A casual stroll to the northeast puts you on the beach facing Tampa Bay in mere minutes, while an equally short walk to the southwest puts you on the gulf side at the Sand Bar restaurant. Friends who've lived in Tampa for a few years said "locals" refer to Anna Maria Island as "old Florida" ... free of the blight of over-commercialization, meaning no large high-rise hotels or resorts, no unsightly, never-ending strips of retail tourist traps, and no lengthy traffic delays. So, for our first vacation in several years, we decided to take a gamble... and are thrilled that we did! Anna Maria Island is an absolute idyllic jewel of a destination. Thoughtful planning and controlled development seamlessly blend its preserved, quaint architecture of the past with newer styles. There are dozens of outstanding restaurants ... plus, spectacular Holmes Beach, which stretches for miles and affords ample views of stunningly beautiful sunsets. C-View provides an invitingly tranquil setting overlooking a channel on the island's north end, with fine accommodations and amenities. The L-shaped design creates ample space between bedrooms to ensure each guest's privacy, while the large open common area gives you a central area to cook, dine, talk, entertain or move outside to the private pool. Lazing on the patio during the day provided numerous opportunities to view local wildlife, including majestic Blue Herons that landed tamely in the backyard on several occasions. The night-time sky provides a crystal clear view of the heavens unlike any other, while their reflections in the pool and on the open water are purely astounding. A casual stroll to the northeast puts you on the beach facing Tampa Bay in mere minutes, while an equally short walk to the southwest puts you on the gulf side at the Sand Bar restaurant. The adjacent city park marks the northernmost tip of Holmes Beach. Should you desire a more conventional activity during your stay, you're only a short drive to the mainland (movies, malls, golf, etc…)

Perfect home for a family vacation. The home is brand new, in immaculate shape, and is within walking distance to everything you would want. We loved having the bikes available for rides daily. The pool is beautiful and the canal access is great for fishing and canoeing. We loved C-View and will come back again! The pictures do not do this place justice. It's beautiful, warm, and family friendly.

We have been to Anna Maria Island for 11 years in a row and stayed in condos and houses over the whole island. We now have a new favorite place to stay! We were so happy with the quality of the appliances and how well the kitchen was stocked, we ate in most of the time. The location was perfect. We pull our boat down from Michigan and found the canal and dock easy access in and out. We had a range of ages (17-73) and everyone found plenty to do within walking distance or a short ride. Unfortunately, the weather was unseasonably cold so we did not get to use the pool, but it looked beautiful. Will definitely stay here again.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

WOW what a lovely home we vacationed at. The dining room table alone was a sight to be seen with a dozen of us around it enjoying each other and playing games. The pool and patio area are spectacular and it was so convenient to every place you want to be on this special island. The details at the home were special, right down to the games in the closet, and the book to tell you what to do, where to go, and what restaurants to eat at. We especially enjoyed Rudy's subs and more, thanks. We will definately recommend this to others that want a great vacation home on Anna Maria Island. Thanks

we had a terrific time at c-view on anna maria island. the home was just that, our home for the week. it had everything we could have asked for and more. its proximity and layout were perfect for my family. thanks again for a perfect vacation home.

This was the perfect home away from home! We were impressed (and pleased) by the owner's quick response to emails, as well as her helpfulness before we arrived. It is very evident that much forethought went into the renovation of C-View, as well as all of the amenities that are available when you arrive. The "little things" made all the difference: cotton balls and swabs; body wash, shampoo and conditioner; and beach towels, items and toys. Thanks so much to Jeff for all of his help and hospitality when we arrived. He was "Johnny-on-the spot"! As it says in the description of the house, you can choose to never leave. However, there is so much to do within literally steps of the front door, why would you want to stay in? Even though we live approximately an hour away, we felt we were transported far away and were sad to leave. We will definitely consider C-View for future vacations and recommend it to others.

Incredible house and location!

Our family of 8 was very comfortable for our week in late July. There was plenty of space to spread out, but we were also able to gather around the large kitchen table for meals, games, conversation, etc. The kitchen was well stocked and we ate in every meal while on the island. The house was truly better than the pictures provided. It was a home away from home. The location on the island was excellent if you're looking for a peaceful vacation with great access to the beach. We tried both the gulf and bay beaches (5 - 10 minute walk), and the kids loved each one. And Bayfront park has some shade trees to stay out of the sun during the hot afternoons! We look forward to a future visit to AMI, and will look for C-View as our first choice!

The house is so lovely.It is prettier than the photographs.The description of the house and property were accurate.Everything was clean and well maintained. The patio and pool area are very delightfull. We would definitly recommend C-View ans Anna Maria Island. The Waterfront is a wonderful restaurant. We also enjoyed the Sandbar,Rod and Reel Pier,and the City Pier restaurants. The Space Shuttle lift off could be seen from the City Pier. Anna Maria Island is a wonderful get away!

We were fortunate enough to have found this house and rented it for the 4th of July weekend. We were traveling with couples and a few singles and this house was perfect. Very roomy..no one felt cramped at all. It could easily accomodate 10 people. It is beautifully re-done and stocked with everything you could need (blender, grill, computer, kitchen items, linens). The house is open and has a great kitchen and eating area that can accomodate many people comfortably. There was plenty of parking even though we had 2 boat trailers and several cars at some points. The backyard is a relaxing place to lay by the pool or have a cook out. The best beaches (clean, quiet, calm clear water) are only a few blocks away and we were fine with walking. Much easier than trying to find parking! There was also a boat dock where we were able to tie up our two 20 foot bow riders (both have bimini tops and ski towers). The bridges can get a little low during high tide and the canal does get very shallow at low tide but, we were able to get in and out everytime. Because the house is located at the end of a canal, the water is calm and there is no wake to bang the boats around. The canal comes out at the north end of the island where tampa bay, the intercoastal and the gulf of mexico all meet so you can get anywhere qucikly and easily. There are several boat rental places nearby or the ramp is only about a 15 minute ride to the south right off Manatee Ave right after coming onto the island. I would definatley recommend this house to anyone...you will have a wonderful time. Also, check out the Sunhouse (furhter south on ths island) for dinner. Reserve a table on the deck for a great view and if you have a large party, ask for Chris. He is the manager and was great!

What a wonderful home! It was clean spacious and well equipt. Our family of 8 had plenty of room to roam. The pool was great (we put an umbrella in to shade the sun). The beach was so close and so beautiful. We loved this end of the island. The owner was very helpful with suggestions, and made the trip even better! We will recommend this home to family and friends and we will definitely be back!

We stayed at C-View in June 2009 and the experience was terrific. The house is like new with a big and fully stocked kitchen. The layout of the 5 bedrooms allows privacy for many guests. The pool is large and has a shallow area that you can sit in and relax after coming back from the beach. We rented kayaks and launched them at the dock. It is a 15 minute paddle to the bay or a 5 minute walk to the beach. Do not miss going to the beach at the tip of Anna Maria. There is a sand bar that you can wade to at low tide which is directly at the mouth of Tampa Bay. The views are spectacular at sunset.

Our travelers were thrilled with the accomodations we found on Holly Ave. Everything was as promised, clean, well kept, and convenient. The lovely pool and setting added to the experience. The owner was a joy to work with, met and exceeded our expectations. She was very helpful with local recommendations, and communicated frequently to help with the details. We would highly recommend this location for your next vacation!

We had a wonderful time at this vacation home. It accommodated our party of eight very nicely. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished. We lingered by the pool most days even though the beach was just a short walk away. The kitchen was well equipped and made us feel right at home. We highly recommend this lovely vacation home and hope that we are able to return soon.

We just returned from C-View (Mar 11-19/09). We were two families (10)and we had a wonderful vacation. There was plenty of room for all 10. The location was ideal. Maybe 5 min. walk from the house to the most spectacular beach.... it really is a treasure. The area was very quiet as was the beach. The house is very well equiped and had a great pool too. We really didn't want to leave & can't wait to return!
