American Way Chalet offers a completely unique lodging experience in Breckenridge. This small private home is modeled after mountain homes in Europe with the highest quality of amenities and finishes in a sensibly sized package. The home was designed with families in mind, who wanted the luxuries of a hotel with the comforts of home. The design and building of the chalet incorporated materials from around the United States and Europe to create the ultimate in Alpine comfort. The Chalet is a perfect alternative to condominium properties for a small family or group, particularly for return guests to Breckenridge. Situated in a quiet forested Peak 7 neighborhood just four miles from town, the privacy and mountain scenery guarantee an unforgettable getaway.
UNIT FEATURES:
Guests in American Way Chalet receive a complimentary unlimited gondola parking pass during the ski season for easy in-town parking.
This private home is 1,500 square feet and was completely remodeled in 2008 with all the amenities found in top-of-the-line mountain vacation homes. Heated entry steps lead into a mud room for coat, ski and equipment storage and an adjacent laundry room with a new front-loading washer/dryer. The main floor living space features an open kitchen, dining area and living room all surrounded by windows and forested views. The spacious dining room seats 6 with seating for 3 more at the breakfast bar. The roomy kitchen has everything for dining in, including an espresso machine.
One end of the living room is anchored by a cozy gas fireplace and a home theater system with 42” HDTV, DVD and PS2 gaming console. The Chalet boasts extensive electronics including a full-house sound system, wireless internet and 17” HDTV/DVDs in each bedroom. The back deck steps down to a new private hot tub with natural salt water that seats seven comfortably and a charcoal BBQ is also available for guest use. The entire home features heated hickory hardwood floors. One bedroom with queen bed is on the main level, and the main full bathroom also features a jetted tub. The upstairs bathroom features a steam shower and both bathrooms have heat lamps. On the second level, the second bedroom also has a queen bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds. The living room has a queen sofa sleeper for additional bedding.
