Listen to the loons call to you from the cove. Hike around wooded Marvin's Island and find pink lady slipper orchids in bloom. Sun yourself on the slate patio in one of eight golden yellow Adirondack chairs. Stargaze at the Milky Way while you enjoy an outdoor fire.
The first floor of the Pink House features water views on three sides. We have two bedrooms each with double beds plus a sunroom that includes a daybed and trundle bed. The bright and cozy lower level includes two additional daybeds and two more trundles. The lower level has a table that's perfect for playing cards and board games and a TV with a DVD player.
You'll enjoy working in our sunny kitchen that is equipped with all the cooking basics plus excellent water views. The dining table also overlooks the ocean and can be expanded to seat a big crowd. Bring your meals outside to the picnic table when the weather is fine.
You're walking distance from quaint Chester Basin which features an excellent restaurant(the Seaside Shanty), a grocery store, and a pharmacy for your convenience. A petite swimming beach is just steps away from the Pink House front door. A quick drive will take you into historic Chester, Mahone Bay and Lunenberg where you'll find many wonderful restaurants, museums, art galleries, antique stores and outstanding shopping.
Halifax is less than an hour away, where you can tour the Historic Properties and get in touch with Titanic history. The night life and music scene in Halifax are very entertaining.
The Pink House is a family friendly property, perfect for cooking out, playing croquet, or just relaxing in a hammock. Enjoy the best of Nova Scotia from this wonderful cottage. You'll return again and again to savor the relaxation and peace you will find there.
