What a great place. The attention to detail is superb...inside and outside. The gardens are beautiful and the neighborhood is so quiet. We were fortunate to get a last minute booking and have referred friends who are getting married on Kauai next summer. We needed help knowing what to do and Susan and Steven were so kind with giving us the "secrets" of the island. Thank you again. We will be back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

My husband & I stayed here for 10 days, we loved it! It was our home away from home while we where on Kauai. We went to the farmers market right there in Kalaheo (on Wednesdays) & got awesome local fruits & veggies to make dinners & tropical drinks! The outdoor shower was a great way to start the day or rinse off the sand we brought home from the beach. It was a perfect romantic getaway for us... we ended up getting engaged! I will always remember our stay at the Bamboo Cottage & would love to return someday, Mahalo Susan & Steven!Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

We stayed at Steve and Susan's cottage for 11 wonderful nights. It is centrally located and very quiet. We would recommend this cottage to anyone. It was our 2nd time to Kauai and we enjoyed it even more than our first trip. We diefinietly plan to go back and will hopefully get to stay at this cottage again. Macy and Scott (Washington State)Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.
