- Beachfront : At high tide the water approaches closer than 60 feet from the deck! With the stiff breeze you can get hit by a small droplet of salt spray ... in bed! And literally roll out of bed into the ocean!

- 2 King beds & 2 full baths - each bedroom features a cathedral ceiling and extends out to a screened in sleeping porch. Great room with 2 inch cedar cathedral ceiling, fireplace, open kitchen & dining area, and a 180 degree view of the turquoise Atlantic! There is also a large, very comfy sofa bed in the great room, so Beach Haven can sleep up to six comfortably. Two hammocks, snorkel gear, skim boards, outdoor shower, hair dryers, vibrating recliner, home theater, astronomical binoculars, mono-scope & tripod. The great room and both screened in porches extend to a massive deck (60’ x 20’) that sits less than 30 yards from the crashing ocean surf. Regular stiff Atlantic breezes & ceiling fans (7 total) keep all rooms 'breezin' - AC rarely needed. Beach Haven sits on an eight mile fine white powder sand beach to walk on, one of the longest in the Caribbean. Two dozen swaying coconut palms on the Beach Haven lot alone!

There is a cell tower nearby and some cell providers work there - please check with your carrier. 2) There is no garbage pick-up, but there is a dump < 3 miles away. 3) There are ample sheets & towels on site, and a washer & dryer for personal needs, but no maid service is provided.

Why the Owner Chose Bahama Palm Shores
We searched the Cayman's, Virgin islands, FL keys, and out islands of the Bahamas for decades in search of our dream home. None of our rentals came close to what this location has to offer and more. It is also very close to the U.S. (~170 miles), is protected by the U.S military, and bases it's dollar upon ours (no need for exchange). It has the beauty parts of Florida may have had a century ago, without the congestion & crime, but with most of today's modern infrastructure. It offers the best of both worlds.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Getting away from it ALL, while enjoying the beauty of beach, ocean, palms, rare birds and phenomenal views of the Milky Way. This place possesses a unique and restorative beauty. We leave so relaxed that it seems you could pour us into a glass. On an average day, you may see one person on our beach, one of the longest in the Caribbean. The residents are largely friendly, honest, religious folk in touch with what's important. It's about as close as we've come to heaven on Earth.

I was lucky enough to stay at your magical house with friends twice. During this time I took many photos and did myriads of sketches (I am a painter from Vermont). The last visit to Beach Haven was one of the most powerful, heartfelt and contented experiences of my life. The series of paintings that resulted has lead to a number of well-received shows in the US and Europe and to a number of fellowships and residencies in the arts. I know the beauty and the spirit of the place among my world travels is what inspired the radiance and power of the paintings. Although you do not know me, I wanted to thank you for sharing your remarkable home and site. Time spent there was truly inspirational and pivotal in my life and work, a true gift. The magic of your home and the ocean, sunsets and the rainbows--- which seemed to greet us every evening. I wasn't able to get photos of the dolphin, sea turtles and rays that were playing daily near the seashore, but they remain with me and brought huge smiles to my friends on their birthdays- celebrated here. (The best presents, along with the shooting stars.) Factual notes-- the accommodations are wonderful, the beach- a coconut's throw away, only the sound of the sea at night, a huge deck, gracious living space and 2 lovely private bedrooms - each with a deck and bath. Quiet and breathtakingly beautiful.

This was by far the best vacation we have ever enjoyed. Planning on going back the end of May. If you want to "get away from it all" this is the place to go. We Loved It!!!!

We just returned from a week at Beach Haven and it exceeded our expectations to say the least. They could have named it Beach "Heaven" as the house, beach and water was absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a secluded getaway from all the hustle and bustle of the world, this is your place. Our most difficult decision every day was what to eat and the house was well stocked with everything you need to live in paradise for a week. Most days we had the entire beach to ourselves and that was exactly what we were looking for. Great location south of Marsh Harbor but still easy access to the other interests of the island such as Treasure Cay, Cherokee Sound, etc. The owners were great to work with and provided a ton of local information in order to make our stay as enjoyable and hassle free as possible. This was our first trip to one of the smaller islands and we would absolutely recommend this piece of paradise and hope to return soon.
Owner response:A most kind response given that one of the AC units had a relay corrode the day they arrived. Of course, those things happen when you're so close to salt water, and thanks to our caretaker team we had a quick response & repair.

We visited Beach Haven this summer, and we did not want to leave. This home has everything you could possibly need and more. A little cat met us on the window sill, and we felt at home.the home has a beautiful patio/porch to sit out at night and feel the breeze and stars. We did see our shooting summer stars, we did walk the beach, we did relax. compliments to the owners, they had everything ready for us. I would stay again, if i returned. ( my only comment, which has nothing to do with the home, because the home was fantastic) the beaches in bahamas- need help with the much plastics that come ashore...beach haven is just what it sez, chillin ...
Owner response:Most of our reviews, similar to this one, are in the paper guest log at the house - we can send pics of these pages showing what they wrote. All feedback is along the lines of "the pictures simply don't do it justice", "peaceful and restorative" and "we never wanted to leave". We currently have a 31% repeat stay rate - says a lot about how special this place really is.

My "Happy Place!" A fabulous place to get away, unwind & relax. Pics cannot describe the serenity of the place. Miles of white sand beach to walk and you MIGHT encounter another couple. Ocean surf is mesmerizing. Night sky is fantastic. Water was perfect and got to swim with Dolphins!
