We enjoyed a beautiful Easter weekend at this cabin. From the moment we walked in the door, we knew we had found a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of life. Cozy, comfy, and quaint this home is all it claims to be and more. We fell in love with the gorgeous sitting room and drank our morning cofee to the sound of the breathtaking waterfalls and the song of the birds. Enjoyed a BBQ, and unwound our tensions in the relaxing hot tub. We slept like babies in the comfortable king bed, and fell asleep to the rushing creek each night. The location is very secluded, and easy to find by direction. The pics do not do justice to this lovely sanctuary. Clean and well-maintaned, Brenda has a great eye for decorating. She was very easy to work with, and has a pleasant and kind personality. We would HIGHLY recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a totally blissful vacation or get-away. We found some lovely antique stores in town, and drove along the countryside and took in the sights and sounds of nature in this mountain paradise. Thank you so much, Brenda for sharing your heavenly home with us. We hope to be back again soon!!

Brenda, just wanted you to know that your cabin is an absolute paradise, did not want to leave and cannot wait to get back. Wonderful Getaway!!

I know the phrase is over used, but this really is a little slice of heaven! The cabin was just wonderful, and it felt like we had really gotten away from all of the stress and aggravation of the world. Amazingly isolated, peaceful and relaxing, yet close enough to Blairsville and Young Harris to have all the creature comforts nearby. Sherry and I left the window open and fell asleep to the soothing sound of the waterfall. People in that area are the nicest, salt-of-the-earth folks I've ever met; and Ms. Brenda was the perfect host - everything was perfect when we arrived, and she called to check on us when bad weather threatened. Get a cup of coffee, sit on the deck and watch the waterfall, or relax in the hottub, and you'll immediately start to wonder why you would ever go back to the "real world"! Thank you, Brenda, and we'll be coming back soon and often!

Incredible Weekend

We arrived late Thursday night so we did not have the opportunity to appreciate our accommodations until morning. The cabin is precious and well-equipped. The view of the water is very peaceful. This is our 4th visit to Nature Lovers Getaway. The last time we were here was 2004 and it was even more wonderful and beautiful than we remembered. The house is so cozy and homely and the waterfall cant be beat. It was our anniversary and we both enjoyed it so much we want to come here every year to celebrate. We also rented a boat on Lake Chatuge from Boundary Waters marina who I would hightly recommend, it is a beautful lake with spectacular mountain views. Brenda I'm so glad we got to 'bump' into you at the store!:)

7/13/11 to 07/17/11 WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR TIME IN THIS HOUSE. NOTHING LIKE SITTING NEXT TO A WATERFALL TO RELAX YOU AND TAKE YOUR TROUBLES AWAY. EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR A GREAT STAY. THE DIRT ROAD IS BETTER THAN MOST PAVED ROADS AND DIRECTIONS GET YOU THERE, WITH NO PROBLEMS. WOULD RECOMEND THIS CABIN TO ANYONE. THANKS BRENDA FOR A NICE RELAXING PLACE!

This place was magical! Stayed for 3 days touring the North Ga. mountains. Tucked away, secluded, and so romantic! Waterfall in the back yard makes for great sleeping because you can hear it from the upstairs bedroom. Hottub scenery looks unreal. All my pictures of the area looked fake- too good to be true. You have to see it to believe it. Brenda has really added some special touches to make this place an awesome choice.

My husband and I were stressed out from a lot of changes in our life and just needed a getaway to leave it all behind for just a few days. When I sat down at the computer trying to think of different places to go, I thought..."Where can we go where it is peaceful and relaxing?" IMMEDIATELY this cabin came to mind. We had visited here at least 2 or 3 times in the past but it had been a few years. However, that's how much this home left an impression on us. So much of an impression that we flew from Houston (2 hours) into Atlanta and then drove the 2 1/2 hours to the cabin. The minute I got out of the car and heard the water, I hurried to the deck and looked down. The sounds of the water, the cool breeze and the peacefulness of this home cannot be described in words. You have to EXPERIENCE it for yourself. Some cabins you walk into and they have a generic feel like a hotel room. NOT this one! You walk in and you feel like you've come home! Do yourself a favor! Visit here for even just a weekend and you'll fall in love and never want to leave!

This cabin exceeded our expectations! It seemed the only problem was the week went way to fast. Brenda was a great host and was easy to reach and more than willing to answer any questions that we had. The creek was a little slice of heaven and was more beautiful than the pictures. I loved being tucked away in the mountains yet only 10-15 minutes to town. If your looking for much needed R&R this is the place! Words just cant explain how happy we were with our choice to stay at Brendas little slice of Heaven. Thank You Brenda and God bless you.

Brenda, Thank you for sharing your home! This was the perfect spot to get away from it all. We stayed in the whole time, except my short excursion into town one day. The waterfall, the snow, and the quiet was wonderful. Robin and I needed to rest and relax and take a break from our 8 children and we were able to rest, relax, and recharge!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at your cottage. The waterfall is amazing. We slept with the windows open and listened to the water all night. The pictures don't do it justice. It is much nicer. The pumpkin and mums on the porch were so welcoming. My husband enjoyed your music collection. We sat in the sun room, listened to music and watched the water. The rain made it even nicer. We had dinner at Brothers in Yound Harris. The food was very good and the service was very nice also. Brenda, thank you for calling to check on us and thank for your hospitality. Our stay was just what my husband needed before his next treatment. God bless you.

Just Beautiful

This is the first vacation my husband and I have had in way to long....We could not have stayed at a nicer place. We have just loved it. Sitting outside by the fire or in the hottub the view is just amazing. The overall appearance of the home and yard really made are stay so enjoyable. This is a bit late, but I wanted to throw in my $0.02. We stayed here for our honeymoon in December 2006. This cabin is wonderful, beautiful, cozy, you name it. The scenery is amazing, gorgeous (again, you name it), and it was pleasantly secluded enough for us. We are city people, so take that with a grain of salt ;) We could sit in the sun room all day and just watch the creek. We'd love to go back sometime, but we have a 2.5 month old puppy now, so it might be a while. We highly recommend this cabin to everyone!

Brenda, My wife and I choose this cabin to celebrate our first year of marriage and it was a perfect place to do so. As city dwellers, we were surprised by how quiet it was around the cabin (which was what we were looking for). We were also surprised by how comfortable the King Bed was and how stocked the kitchen was with utensils and spices (which made staying a lot easier). We would definitely consider staying here again.

When searching for a place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, little did I know that this place was "The Place". I know God lead us here! You have a wonderful place It was my husband's 40th birthday and we surely enjoyed ourselves. We don't travel to much, but your lovely place has changed that. We will surlely be back.
