Bareboat with Captain-No Frills Charter...
You will be the crew to help the captain with all duties. This is a Non inclusive charter so you supply your food and prepare. The captain is in charge of the yacht and will aide you in your day to day itinerary.Pricing varies to number of guests and days of charter. Included; captain, taxes, permits, use of 3 staterooms with bedding and towels, bathrooms/showers, use of kitchen facility with dishes and utensils, use of 2 kayaks with paddles, and dingy with motor. Day Cruise...
Enjoy a day trip with swimming, snorkeling, kayaking or just relaxing at a beautiful cove (Blandra or Candelero within a few hours of La Paz. We provide a captain and 1 crew member, park passes, 2-kayaks, use of upper deck kitchen facilities, stateroom for changing clothes and our swim platform shower. Description of the yacht
"A New Beginning" is a fiberglass 60’ Lien Hwa motor yacht with an 18’ beam and about 2,500 square feet. She comes well appointed with fine details given throughout. The yacht is equipped with; niad stabilizers that provide a smoother ride, twin 400 hp detroit diesels (8 knots cruising speed), 2000 gal. fuel, 600 gal. water, 9cfc dive compressor, water maker (600 gal./day), 2 generators (110/220), updated fire, safety and navigational equipment. Your safety and comfort is our first concern.
The yacht is fully air conditioned. There are four deluxe staterooms all with reading lights & private baths. The Captains Quarters and VIP stateroom have a queen size bed, the green stateroom has two twin single births and the blue stateroom has twin bunks. She sleeps up to 6 guests very comfortable in three staterooms. There are 5-bathrooms, 2-galleys, 2-pilot stations, salon with white leather couches and TV/VCR/DVD/CD with surround sound, the cockpit area has a table for dining out, a wide stairway leads down to a custom 5' dive/swim platform with room for two kayaks and an outdoor shower, she has a huge upper deck with lots of seating, a dining area, and plenty of shade. We have a good selection of videos, DVDs, CDs, books and a few games for your enjoyment or bring your own.
On our charters enjoy snorkeling, kayaking, swimming, scuba diving, fishing, whale watching, birding, hidden beaches or just relaxing.

(Saturday to Saturday with 4 days in La Paz and 4 days at sea)
Day 1 (Sat.)- Arrive in La Paz board after 2pm you are on your own to explore La Paz and enjoy the yacht.
Day 2 (Sun.)-Enjoy a continental breakfast then adventure out for the day preparing for your 4 days at sea. There will be time to enjoy the yacht and get acquainted with your upcoming duties as crew.
Day 3 (Mon.)to Day 6 (Thurs.)- Embark for the islands enjoy kayaking, snorkeling, whale watching, dolphins and more. This is a bareboat charter so you are the crew assisting the captain with all duties. The captain will oversee all functions of the yacht and help assist you as crew. All food and beverages are provided by you during this time. See bareboat charters for what is included.
Day 7 (Fri.)- Wake up in the La Paz Bay to a continental breakfast then go enjoy La Paz or relax on the yacht.
Day 8 (Sat.)- Enjoy a continental breakfast then embark by noon.

Year Purchased: 2000
I moved to La Paz in 2000 and started Rama Jama Adventures, SA de CV which is a registered Mexican Corporation. Starting a Mexican Corporation was a challenge as my spanish when I first arrived was terrible. So with the help of a Mexican partner I was able to make it happen. We are registered as a tourist marine business which our main objective has been chartering. But I am also a certified PADI dive instructor as well as a captain so I am also offering training in Scuba Diving.
Why the Owner Chose La Paz
I have been visiting Baja since I was a child. As an adult child I traveled much to Baja Sur for scuba diving. La Paz was always my favorite spot to dive and the weather here was so perfect. Because of my love for diving, I came up with the idea of starting a dive liveaboard buisness. But it turned out to be so much more than diving. I was also attracted here by the variety of whales that visit this area, the many sea lion colonies, the number of islands close by, giant mantas, whale sharks, hammerhead shark, the incrediable sea life and most of all the people and culture of La Paz.
The Unique Benefits of this 60' Luxury Motor Yacht
My home is the yacht and I am fortunate to have found a very small marina (one dock only) that has an incredible view of the La Paz Bay. At times I feel I am at anchor as I can hear the water sounds at the side of the yacht and the gentle rocking. The yacht has all the conveniences of a house so my life style is very accommodating. At the dock, the young children that live near enjoy fishing and swimming. They catch maui maui, flounder, bass and many other edible fish. When I am not cleaning and caring for the yacht I enjoy taking out a kayak or going for a spin in the dingy. But... when I leave the dock the real pleasures begin. Maybe a whale that entertains you with its spy hopping then comes aside the yacht only to invite you to come play so you jump into a kayak for even a closer encounter. Each time I leave the dock a new adventure awaits.
